A long needed rest!

The best word to describe my time at this beautiful condo is "restful". The moment I arrived, I could feel the stress melting away. From beautiful views, to comfortable beds and furniture, a well equipped kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms and everyday the decision was... do we go to the beach first or the pool?? The beach is right across the street and the pool is a stones throw away! The condo sits right in front of Fort Clinch, which is a must see! The pier, at the Fort, is a great place to walk, take in the view, fish and/or gab a perfect photo. Then, of course there's downtown, which is great fun, with a couple of affordable antique stores, restaurants of all types, ice cream shops, trendy clothing stores, beach stores and a fabulous fish market at the dock, where you can buy the fresh catch of the day. (We did!) The dock is also the local favorite spot to catch the sunset. Don't forget to go down the side streets, where you'll find little tucked away treasures! The houses downtown are so unique and the historical ones are very well cared for. Other parts of the island are fun to visit also. There is a Public's close by, Anne Taylor, SteinMart, thrift stores, etc... and south Amelia is beautifulI and definitely worth the drive. I had very restful sleeps, took long walks on the beach, shopped, went sight seeing, laughed, drank wine, ate lots of ice cream and was sad to go home. I can't wait to return and do it all over again! I know your stay will be as enjoyable!!
