HONUA KAI 1 BR MOUNTAIN VIEW WITH SPACIOUS BALCONY

Stayed here for four nights with my family. (2 Adults / 2 Kids, Ages 10 and 9) The room and resort were beyond our expectations. Very easy to get booked, excellent accommodations and amenities, clean, and well worth every cent. We'll definitely do this again!

This 1 bedrooom condo is lovely! My family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 15) stayed for 2 weeks and it was excellent. The unit is on the second floor with an enormous deck. It does not have a view of the ocean, but we didn't mind that at all (after all we were at the beach every day enjoying the view!) It is very quiet. We hardly heard any noise from surrounding units. The condo is very well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, beach towels and toiletries. The kitchen is well stocked and even had basic spices included. The property management company that we dealt with--Maui Resort Realty--was excellent. They even provided an air mattress for our oldest who did not want to share the sofa bed with his sister. Our king bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have slept in! The condo was spotlessly clean and Dan, from Maui Resort Realty was a pleasure to deal with. (so was Chris when we made the booking and I had a hundred questions!!). Our flight was delayed and we arrived late around 11 pm. Dan met us at the resort and escorted us to the unit, even helping with our luggage. He showed us how everything worked and spent time with us telling us about where to eat, places to visit etc. He was very responsive when I contacted him with a few minor questions in the days to come. Everything worked well and we really appreciated how well stocked the unit was. We really appreciated the boogie boards and the beach chairs and towels. Dan even dropped off 2 extra beach chairs for us! The resort itself is gorgeous and very well situated. Across the street is a little strip mall with a grocery store, a great pizza place, fish market and snorkel bobs (best place to rent snorkel gear!). The resort has numerous pools, BBQs, grassy areas to throw the ball around and is right on the beach. Although we didn't spend too much time at the resort beach, we appreciated being able to jog along the boardwalk every morning. We would definitely recommend Dan, Chris and the rest of the team at Maui Resort Realty and we will definitely use them again! And we definitely highly recommend this unit!! Mahalo!!

We absolutely love the Honua Kai. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and can't imagine staying anywhere else. You truly have all the comforts of home and then some. We loved the huge over sized lanai on this unit. Great place to have breakfast and enjoy coffee every morning. We also loved the fact that it was so quiet. Dan was super friendly and helpful as well! We will be coming back next year for sure!
