Villa Aura was completed in 2008 and designed as a holiday rental villa. It caters for upto eight guests utilising two sofa beds. Their are three en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and one W.C. on the ground floor. The outside area of the property incorporate a large pool, double brick barbeque and pergola ideal for shade from the hot midday sun. The villa is tastefully decorated and is fully equiped with a fitted kitchen and all the facilities you would expect from a high quality accomodation. The ground floor has a large lounge/dining area which opens out onto the patio area and pool. A entrance driveway and parking area make the location of this villa very private.

Keramies is a quiet village, close to the village of Spartia. Spartia has a small shop and coffee bar. The beach at Spartia, which is only a short drive from Villa Aura, is a picturesque cove with shingle and rock. There are a couple of tavernas close to the beach. In the villages of Trapezaki and Peratata there are many tavernas and some shops, the capital Argostoli is only 15 minutes drive away. St. Georges venetian castle which was originally the capital of Kefalonia is around 5 minutes from the villa and is worth a visit, if only for the views. The area around Villa Aura is ideal for walkers, as there is a fairly flat plane surrounding the village. Many beaches and coves are dotted along this coastline from shingle/pebble to fine sand to the south. The quaint village of Kourkoumalata is worth a visit its upkeep was agreed after a donation to rebuild after the 1953 earthquake was given by one of its wealthy residents. Lord Byron visited this area when writing his poetry

Me and my family booked this villa and from the minute of booking to us being collected at the airport and then arriving at this wonderful place was completely stress free.
The villa had everything you could wish for. It was very clean with fesh flowers and a welcome pack on arrival the villa was cleaned twice a week and the pool three times a week. You do need a car to get arround as the villa is in the countryside but very peaceful. We are looking to go back to Kefalonia which is a beautiful island and we will be using Kefalonia homes Villa Aura or a bigger villa. The Hesketh Bank family give this villa and Kefalonia staff a big thumbs up on all counts book now! you will not be disappointed.
