This three bedroom villa has been designed to give the feeling of home from home. Facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, full size oven and hob, microwave, BBQ, Satellite T.V./radio. A fully fitted kitchen and open plan dining/lounge area offers a large comfortable living space. There is one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms all with en-suite facilities including walk-in showers. The view from the villa is breathtaking looking over a vast valley towards the sea. The private pool has a large patio area, which is cordoned off with a wooden picket fence. Only a few minutes drive from Xi beach, the more energetic may wish to take a stroke or jog down to the waters edge. A number of tavernas and coffee bars serve snacks and drinks. CAR HIRE IS INCLUDED IN RENTAL PRICE. Cleaning and laundry is carried out twice weekly. An emergency telephone contact number is available 24hrs. A welcome pack is awaiting you with all you will require from bacon and eggs to beer and wine.

Xi beach is the only red sandy beach on Kefalonia & is ideal for families and non swimmers. Just around the corner is the famous Moving Rock (Kounopetra), which is not connected to the mainland but continually rocks gently back and forth.  The Kipouria monastery is only half an hour away and is built on a shear cliff edge. Petani beach with its rolling waves, pebble shores and rocky outcrops (perfect for snorkelling), is not too dissimilar to Kefalonias' famous Myrtos Beach, and takes around 20 mins to get to by car. Don't miss the fabulous sunset, while relaxing over a glass of wine in one of the traditional tavernas situated on Petani beach. Another unique taverna is at Vatsa, where you can feel the sand under your feet while relaxing and watching the waves. In the village of Mantzavinata is the Viteratos winery where you can taste the locally produced wine of the area. Lixouri town has museums and a vast array of culture, with architecture dating back to, before the 1953 earthquake.

Superb villa & pool, very clean & well appointed and serviced by really friendly staff every few days.Close to many great beaches : Xi for the kids - safe & shallow, Petani for snorkelling and Atheras (really idyllic) a bit further afield for both. Plenty of excellent resteraunts within a 10 minute drive - Try Spiros fantastic taverna at Vatsa for the best seafood & the Kefalonian produce shop at the back of the square in Lixouri for cakes/pastries. The home made Stifado at Oasis (on the seafront in Lixouri) is worth a visit also.
You need a car to appreciate Kefalonia.
