Welcome to our charming renovated condo and a fabulous vacation that is yours for the making. Come relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings of this premier golfing destination community in La Quinta, California. Our unit has spectacular southern mountain and 10th fairway views of the La Quinta Resort's famous Mountain Course. This is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with a guest casita. Enter the custom wood gates to a lush, landscaped, private courtyard with a lovely eating/sitting area. Through the glass front doors you will enjoy the wonderful open floor plan with high ceilings in the living and dining areas and custom furniture that is both comfortable and chic. The porcelain tile floors, plush oriental carpets, warm paint colors, custom window coverings, and gas fireplace make this space even more inviting. There is a large flat screen in the living room as well as DVD player and stereo set. Premium cable and wireless internet complete the amenities. The dining area comfortably seats 6 and is adjacent to the granite tile kitchen with newer appliances that is fully equipped to make even the finicky cook happy. We have enjoyed many family meals at the large table where windows look out on the courtyard. In close proximity is the powder room for guest convenience.
The master bedroom has a premium king bed, large mirrored closet and an adjoining bath that features double sinks, a large tub and a separate shower area. The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, large mirrored closet, and an adjoining bath. Adjacent to both of these bedrooms is a full service laundry room. The separate and private guest casita is located off the courtyard and has an adjoining bath and shower area as well as a large closet and 42” flat screen TV. The bedrooms are all carpeted and very private. Open the french doors in the light-filled living room to a lovely patio complete with new barbeque and spectacular views of the mountains and sunset in the early evening. There is a wonderful feeling of privacy and warmth in this tranquil space where one can enjoy a good book or glass of wine at the end of the day.
The flow of the home from the private courtyard to the indoor area and the back patio is conducive to entertaining. Bring friends and family and enjoy the lovely amenities our home has to offer. The pool and spa are located right across the street and we are a short walk to the Golf Club for the Mountain and Dunes courses at the resort as well as to the La Quinta Resort and Spa. This hotel has the most gorgeous landscaping in the desert. The flowers, fruit trees, and large open spaces are timeless and so inviting. Our family truly savors our desert hideaway, a gem we hope you too will enjoy. This is a beautiful desert oasis designed for your comfort and pleasure. Please be our guests!
We currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. We grew up in Northern California and travelled to the desert often with our children on vacations. After many trips we decided to buy our own home to enjoy with our extended family.

We purchased at Santa Rosa Cove due to the proximity of the La Quinta Resort and Spa. What a plus to have such a world class hotel close by. The history of the grounds and the beauty of the area drew us here!
We chose our home for the unique golf course views and also the privacy of the location. We lovingly upgraded the condo for our comfort and enjoyment in entertaining our famly and friends.
"Simply the best-- better than all the rest" is how we felt about this outstanding unit. It has many attractive features, including great location, very spacious layout, lovely furnishings, spectacular views and a warm and comfy feeling. We could highly recommend it to all ages. Ellen and the owners were very kind and helpful. We hope to return.
This condo is over the top spectacular. It's views from sunrise to
sunset, its proximity to everything is mind boggling. A hop skip & a
jump, your @ La Quinta resort during happy hour, enjoying cocktails or
& live music on the plaza, 20 steps down, your can eat @ one of
three fine to casual dining spots. Take your pick.
Grab the bikes for a ride to old town not a 1/2 mile away to the
farmers market or just a cup of joe. Take the 7 mile bike trail, it's a
great ride, if you can handle it.
If you're a golfer, you can walk over the the driving range & for a nominal fee get an all day pass. You can hit as many balls as you want
to sharpen up your game before you hit one of many magnificent courses
in the area!
Didn't want to leave. Was tempted to ask the next guests if I could
stay in the casita for a week or two.
The condo offers all the amenities you require, it was just like home.
We spent Christmas week with our family in this very comfortable home with wonderful views. We particularly enjoyed the location of the home in Santa Cruz Cove which provided opportunities to walk and bike (with the 2 bikes located in the garage)on the property. Loved riding the bikes on Bear Creek Trail which is a beautiful 6 mile loop along the base of the mountains. Discovered a wonderful park at the top of the loop to hike and picnic at an oasis. Also not far from other fun activities all throughout the valley. Loved the privacy of the casita on the very pretty, bougainvillea-filled, interior courtyard - worked well for my sister and her husband. The gas starter fireplace in the living/dining area made the place very cozy at night. The kitchen worked well for all of our meals and the grill was very welcome and heavily used every night for dinner. But the patio was where we spent any free moment we had - the view was extraordinary at all times of the day.
This house really delivers. It had everything we needed to stay comfortable for a week. We even had a large thanksgiving dinner at the house and it was perfectly suited! I would definitely come again !!
This condo is managed by Ellen, who lives locally and she is friendly, efficient and responsive. The condo owners are warm and gracious people who have furnished their home to be comfortable and casual. The kitchen is well-stocked with excellent cooking equipment. There are two bicycles available for use in the garage --- typical of these considerate owners. We couldn't get enough of the patio view: enjoying the changing light on the Santa Rosa Mountains. This is a lovely home, in a terrific location, well-cared for and well-managed. We enjoyed every moment!
Handsomely appointed, comfortable and spacious located on the mountain golf course. This wonderful rental comes with a separate casita. One can take part in many activities such as golf, tennis, biking, walking, swimming, lying by the pool or sitting in the jacuzzi. The pool is located across from this beautiful home.
If you choose to cook at home the kitchen is fully loaded but, the club house is within walking distance to the La Quinta Spa and restaurants.
This was the most relaxing 7 days my husband, 2 children and I have spent in a long time. What a find! We will definitely return soon.
Our condo is located in the gated private community of Santa Rosa Cove adjacent to the historic and famous La Quinta Hotel Resort and Spa. It is a short stroll to the Mountain and Dunes Golf Course and Club and also to the wonderful shops ,restaurants, and spa at the resort It is also a lovely walk or bike ride to Old Town La Quinta where there is a weekend famer's market and lively entertainment. Close by are great hiking and biking trails, the International Tennis Gardens, Joshua Tree and wonderful shopping in Palm Desert and Palm Springs. The desert towns of Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Springs, offer additional golfing and dining opportunities. For kids the water park and Living Desert are a must see! The Cabazon Outlet Malls are a 30 minute drive away.
