Located in Seagrove Beach - 1 mile from the center of Seaside Square The Beacons Condominium's is the best kept secret along Scenic Highway 30-A. Our 2 building, 10 unit condominium complex is nestled between million dollar private homes with our own private beach boardwalk. Our condo is in the second building back from the beach. We’re on the beach side of 30-A so there are no roads to cross. In fact, you can walk from the patio of our ground floor condo to the beach in about 70 steps.

The location of our condo is perfect! Not only are we on the beach side of Scenic Highway 30-A but the 16-mile jog/walk/bike path along 30-A is just outside our door. Hop on your bike and you’ll be in the beautiful village of Seaside in about 5 minutes or one of our favorite activities is to bike ride to Grayton Beach state park and rent a canoe for the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful coastal dune lakes that are native to this part of Florida.

We have many repeat guests who stay in our condo year after year and new guests love our “guest book” where previous visitors leave tips and suggestions as to places to eat, shop, or things to do in the area. Our condo has a fully equipped kitchen and sleeps 4 with a spacious master bedroom and large hall bunks that kids especially love.

Wonderful place for a small family.

Great little condo. Really enjoyed having a (shared) private walkway right down to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about anything we could think of for cooking. Housekeeping had the place spotless for us when we arrived. The owner is friendly, and responded to all of our email queries very quickly.

We brought our 4 year old and our 1 year old, and the place was perfectly child proof for them. (i.e. no small breakable items on tables for the 1 year old to destroy)

We were there over a long weekend in September, and it was a very quiet atmosphere. Perfect for babies needing to nap during the day. Highly recommended for people with small children.

Wonderful Condo and Owners!!

I was on here checking the availability of BJ's place and wanted to comment based on the latest review. I have been renting this condo since before the Shaw's became owners. While it was a decent little condo then, the improvements the Shaw's have made are outstanding and they have done so without escalating the rent on the condo through the roof. They are wonderful with which to work. They contacted me the year they took over as owners as I had already rented under the previous owner and were very courteous. They even kept me updated on the improvements they were making throughout the next year. :-) This condo is absolutely wonderful. It is on the beachside of 30-A, literally less than a minute to the beach, very close to Seaside, Publix and MANY great restaurants. This is my favorite vacation spot and home away from home. I went elsewhere with friends last year and was truly homesick for here. I love to just bring my dog and move south for a week. I was sad to see that it was already rented for the week of my break this year. I will be back! The Shaws are absolutely wonderful owners. (My date of arrival is not correct. The calendar would not go back to the date of my stay but forced me to choose a date.)

Condo is your normal like any other!! About half way through the week we had lots of things happen! First the coffee pot quit working and we had to go out a buy a new one, then the TV just quit working and no one ever brought a new one or came to work on it, then we came in from the beach and water was leaking from the ceiling from condo above us! The bathroom floor was soaked. If they get everything fixed it would be a ok place to stay I guess!! It was too much not having a working TV in the living room with two young kids. The TV in the bedroom was had about a 10" screen and was not suitable to bring in the living room for the kids. We contacted the owners but nothing was done to fix or replace anything and we also asked about getting some of our money back and that also didn't happen. Owners said the tv was bad because of lightening and their policy said they wouldn't refund because of lightening damage. If you were to vacation and rent this place, keep in mind that no matter what, you will have to be content with what ever happens. I will never stay in this condo or any other condo that these people own. I would never recommend this condo to anyone. This is the worst vacation on the beach we have ever had. Ended up finding another place to stay the last few days of our vacation.

Owner's Response: It is a shame a disgruntled renter can post a negative review that has such exaggerated complaints.
We have had hundreds of guests stay with us over the years. We do take care of repairs and broken items when they arise. Unfortunately, this time a repairmen was not instantly available to test and replace a 40 inch television.
Our condo has new as well as returning guests that rent every year. We have never had a negative review before. It is unfortunate that we were unable to please this guest.
Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have with us before you rent. We feel sure you will enjoy your stay at our condo.

Absolutely Wonderful!

My husband and I spent the week at BJ's place and had the best time! The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was recently updated and very clean. However, we spent most of our time on the beautiful beaches that were just a few steps from the back door! It was so nice being able to walk back and forth whenever we needed to! It was in the perfect location for our bike rides to Seaside, and even to the grocery store for a quick item! It was the perfect place to stay for our vacation and definitely plan on returning!!
