Guestbook comments from the owner
As a couple in our sixties, we had a wonderful holiday in Meschers staying in Imagine. The property is a real home from home with everything you could wish for a perfect stay. We had driven from Kent and with our own car it meant we could explore the region and relax on several lovely beaches. The recommended restaurants came up to expectation and we were amazed at the reasonable prices. If you love mussels and oysters then this is the place to gorge on them! A visit to Talmont is a must with a trip around the little museum. We took a trip to Ile d'Oleron but didnt find it as picturesque as we had anticipated and so pleased we didnt stay there. Beyond Royan heading north we had memorable walks through pine forests to la Palmerie (but didnt visit the Zoo). All in all, an area and home to which we would definitely return in the future and would recommend to anyone. Would award 5 out of 5 for this beautiful holiday home.

We are real Francophiles, Harvey lived in France when younger and before buying our house in France we would spend each summer holiday touring France in our caravan with our children and friends. Now our children and grandchildren join us at the house for holidays.
The house is ideal for family holidays as the two properties can be used together or independently. With gardens and being close to the beach and village the house is ideal for family, children and the elderly.
La Petite Maison is ideal for two people to use as a base for sightseeing. The village, market and beach are within walking distance. Imagine has a veranda upon which you can relax with an aperitif and watch the sun descend.
