A fantastic Mediterranean style duplex penthouse apartment within walking distance of the sea, just 5 mins from Estepona on the New Golden Mile just west of Marbella. This property is set within a fantastic child friendly Golf and Country Club offering an amazing Spa and gymnasium, golf driving range, putting green and tuition, paddle tennis, swimming pool, clubhouse restaurant and bar. The Penthouse consists of three levels with the top floor being a secluded open plan Solarium where you have fantastic views of the mountains and Mediterranean. The first floor has the lounge/diner with terrace, kitchen, double bedroom and toilet with shower room. On the second floor there is a master double bedroom with ensuite with bath/shower and terracing, a twin bedroom again with terracing and a bathroom with shower. There is a communal pool with bar and restaurant just 1 minute walk away and property has underground parking spaces.

Estepona combines the charm of 'old Spain' with a vibrancy of a busy town. Conveniently situated to explore Seville, Granada, Cadiz, Jerez or to take the ferry to North Africa, for Tangiers or Ceuta. A visit to Ronda by train includes breath-taking views of the mountains. A number of 'white villages ' of Spain can be visited by car. Estepona is appropriately named the Costa del Golf due to the large number of golf courses nearby including the famous Valderama. Puerto Banus and Marbella are an easy car ride away, as are Benahavis and Istan which are well know for their wonderful restaurants. There is a large animal park 'Selwo' near Estepona and Estepona's wide, sandy beach offers a variety of watersports in the summer.There are also 2 Water Parks nearby one in Mijas Costa one in Torremolinos. A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and have close contact with the Apes.

Check in time is 3pm on day of arrival. Checkout time is 11am on day of departure.

Albayt Country Club (on site) : Membership of ‘Al Bayt’ (The Costa Galera Country Club) is 35 Euros per day or 70 euros per week A Club House which is one of the most complete on the whole Costa del Sol and, which offers you excellent installations and services. Over 950m2 space for sports, health and beauty, your well-being and to spoil your senses. Located on the ground floor of the Clubhouse you can access by stairway or by elevator. The beauty center is divided in two areas; at one side you will find the UV cabins, the fitness room and the classroom for group lessons. On the other side you will find the thermal area which we divide in a relax zone equipped with six heated lounge chairs and the actual thermal zone with 3 pools, one for swimming at 31ºC, one for tonification at 12º and one hydro massage pool at 36 ºC with incorporated Jacuzzi, a bubble chair and an area with hydro massage chairs.

Costa Galera: The development has 8 outdoor pools, 2 pools are within 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Two of the pools have large chiringuitos (pool bars) offering hot and cold food and a vast array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, complete with service to your loungers. The club house (see details above) has an on-line, email, and fax equipped reception, beautifully laid out restaurant (with large alfresco terrace) which over looks the golf course.

Ski: You can ski or snowboard in the resort of Sierra Nevada in the province of Granada which is a 2 hour drive away.

Golf: There are at least 40 courses along the coastline. Closest to the apartment are Estepona and Duquesa, both within a 5 min drive and reasonably priced. The famous Valderrama course is only 15 mins away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sotogrande. A Handicap Certificate is required by most Golf Clubs. On site there is a golf academy and driving range. Golf clubs are available to hire from the on-site pro shop within the country club itself and a range of green fees are listed at reception for numerous courses located in the area, including the PGA tournament course at Valderrama. There is tuition available on the Costa Galera course, for driving and putting, from the 1997 PGA tour coach.

We have recently come back from this property in Estepona and had a great time, we took our two children and found that there was plenty of entertainment for them. We didn't manage all 8 swimming pools but we definately tried most of them!

We were given clear directions and found the owners great to deal with, any queries were answered immediately.

Upon arrival a security guard directed us to the villa and the owners had even provided a welcome pack to greet us.

We enjoyed the restaurants in Estepona and also made full use of the BBQ on the terrace. We can't wait to go back next year.
