I will always remember a husband telling me that this was the 1st house that his wife didn't unpack her pots and pans because Ravens Nest had it all! Electric skillet for scrambled eggs and pancakes, yes.... tray to carry out morning coffee to the deck, yes...... tea kettle for those who don't drink coffee, yes..... every kind of spice, yes..... Thank you so much for appreciating all the creature comforts that I love to provide my guests..
We had two families stay at the house. We had an amazing time. From sitting out on the deck during the day to sitting around the kitchen table at night. The kitchen was nice and roomy for everyone to move around in with many amenities to use. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having so many bathrooms. The mudroom was especially nice. Everyone had a hook and boot box for their items. This kept the rest of the house very neat. All of our girls loved the bunkroom and theatre room downstairs and our son loved his own room on the top floor. This is an amazing place to stay if you want a nice neighborhood to stay in, close to town. Paula and her husband were very nice and helpful. We were planning to come back at Christmas and would have loved to have this place again but it was already booked out. I would highly recommend working with Paula, plus a bonus was that her banana bread was very good! We really hated to leave.
Ravens Nest was ideal for our ski holiday at Wolf Creek and exploration of the surrounding area. It was like home away from home and we loved its atmosphere, layout, spaciousness and well equipped kitchen. Although it was larger than we needed for our party of four, we thought it well worth the treat and highly recommend it to small or large groups. This is a thoughtfully and tastefully presented home and easy to recommend.
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Ravens Nest. It's a wonderful home for families and well-behaved dogs. The owners have though through every detail from two coffee makers to night lights in every bedroom. The owner even brought us some banana bread! I highly recommend this property.
We recently took a vacation with some friends and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Plenty of rooms, beds and it was clean on top of all that. The location was just far enough out to enjoy the scenery and close enough to jump into town for some fun. The banana bread that was dropped off for us was the BEST!. What a great place to stay! This place will defintely be on our list of "go to's" for future vacations.
The place was awesome, we gathered with family and friends for a birthday celebration. It was a very spacious home which gave you plenty of room to cook, sleep and have fun. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to make wonderful meals. Everyone loved the theatre room to hang out for a movie or some enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Paula is an exceptional person, her banana bread is great plus she is understanding to pets are family too. We are already planning a summer retreat and it will definitely include the Raven's Nest.
Awesome place for a family and friends to vacation. Beautiful home with rustic charm. Plenty of room for the young crowd to hang out and play games. Great living room with fireplace for the adults to relax. Fully furnished kitchen (and then some) with spacious dining area. Can't wait to return in the summer to relax on the deck!! totally terrific place. And you get banana bread for your first breakfast. Thank you!! Paula definitely goes above and beyond to make your stay great.
Every season offers you something special in Pagosa. Outdoor activities are endless winter and summer. Relaxing in our world famous hot springs, attending some of our music festivals, taking day trips to the National Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde National Monument, 4 wheeling, hiking, tubing down the river, or just kicking back to enjoy the peace and quiet of the gorgeous mountain views is enough to renew you.
