Anniversary Getaway

Although this location was one of the more expensive for this time of year, my husband chose it because he knows I like things clean. It lived up to the expectations. - The house was impeccable! We chose this location only a few days prior to our arrival, but he owners were accommodating and patient with our changes. We arrived to find wine, a cake and an anniversary card - a nice, thoughtful touch. The layout of the home is very comfortable, and we were able to find everything we needed to cook our meals. The area was quiet, and peaceful. As, some of the other guests commented, the dock was one of the best on the lake. We got to enjoy it, because we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather. It's only drawback was it's lack of visibility to the lake, but it is only a short walk to the lake, which we enjoyed.

Owner's Response: I wish we could have a view. We would really enjoy it, but like you said the dock is great and the views and listening to the fish jump is fantastic.

Try to come again in the summer when you can enjoy the warm waters of Kerr Lake...sit down at the lake with a fire and just relax. Cook on the grill and feast at the picnic tables. Bring a boat and go out on the lake.
