The house is spacious and comfortable. One of the most beautiful houses in this part of the island, it is decorated and designed to a high standard. Perfectly situated, it is 10 minutes from the port with excellent shops, restaurants and bars. The nearest beach is also 10 minutes away and there are many other unspoilt beaches within easy reach, some with tavernas.
The house has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living/dining room with a magnificent fireplace, and a well-equipped, modern kitchen with dishwasher. There are three terraces, two with dining tables. The house is very much a home to its owners and the emphasis throughout is on comfort and tranquility and there is a very good library. There is a cleaner once a week and possibly more by prior arrangement. Maximum number of people is six. No pets.
Andros is 2 hours by boat from Rafina (frequent ferries) which is 20 minutes from Athens airport.
Andros, the largest of the Cycladic islands is astonishingly unspoilt. Originally called Idrousa, or island of water, it has much vegetation and many beautiful beaches. The capital, Khora, has three museums, funded by the Goulandris family; as well as beach life, there are hill walks over maintained ancient mule tracks and two interesting archaic and classical sites to visit; also monasteries and unspoilt hill villages.
