2 Bedroom Luxury Apartment sleeps up to 4 people and is central to all amenities
This new luxury first floor apartment is south facing and is located in a quiet conservation area in the historic market town of Kendal close to all local amenities, and is well situated for exploring the Lakes. Allocated private parking is provided. The apartment is very well equipped with good quality furnishings and offers a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. Consisting of the following rooms: Hallway, Large tastefully decorated true Lounge/Diner incorporating comfortable seating for four people, dining table and four chairs, Panasonic Viera LCD TV/DVD and CD player, large patio doors leading out on to the Balcony where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine with a sunny aspect and views of Kendal Castle and beyond. There is a separate high spec kitchen equipped with modern conveniences. The good sized bathroom has a bath with overhead power shower and a large storage cupboard. There are 2 Bedrooms, Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds and Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed.
Sporting Activities: There are two golf courses within a few minutes drive, Kendal Golf Club and Carus Green Golf Club, alternatively there is Windermere Golf club which is approximately a 15 minute drive. A full set of mens and a half set of ladies clubs are available for use from the owners of the apartment. Please advise upon booking.
Pitch and Putt is available at the park which is a two minute walk from the apartment.
There are swimming/ spa facilities at the hotel located round the corner from the apartment. Horse riding is available in the village of Natland a five minute drive away.
Cycling paths are available throughout the Lake District. Grizedale forest is a great day out for the more energetic whether it be walking or cycling there is something for everyone.

There are weekly markets that take place every Wednesday and Saturday in the market place together with a special Farmers Market which proves very popular and this is staged every last Friday of the month.
The Brewery Arts Centre is a good venue for live concerts, cinema, restaurant and outside entertainment. Kendal is also home to the Quaker Tapestry Exhibition, Abbot Hall Art Gallery, K Shoes and the famous Kendal Mint Cake.
Wordworth's homes Dove Cottage Grasmere and Rydal Mount are approximately a 30 minute drive away.
Beatrix Potters house is at Hill Top in Sawrey, and the Beatrix Potter Exhibition in Bowness is a great experience.
Blackwell Arts & Craft Home between Bowness and Newby Bridge.
John Ruskin's beautiful home at Brantwood Coniston. On Lake coniston ride the Gondola steamboat and visit the Donald Campbell Museum.
Eating Out: Kendal is known for it's many restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, deli's, bars. One of the best pubs in town The Castle Inn is located just around the corner from the apartment together with the opening of the Grade II listed Castle Diary which is open for light lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals (the oldest building in town and a very historical setting). There is also an excellent choice of takeaway food for those wishing to relax at home after a long days walking/cycling.
If eating in is your preference there are several supermarkets in Kendal. Morrison's and Aldi are the closest to the apartment and only two minutes away by car. There is also a petrol station at Morrisons. Dominoes Pizza, The Cottage fish & chip shop, Eastern Balti takeaway are also a two minute walk from the apartment.

Caroline purchased Drysalters apartment as a rental business in 2009. After living in Kendal for most of my life I wanted other people to enjoy this beautiful historic market town as we have done over the years.

The property is situated in a conservation area of Kendal. Close enough for all local amenities and a 5-10 minute stroll into town. Located within a private cul-de-sac within a quiet area but with several amenites just around the corner.

Owner organises all aspects from initial booking, meeting guests upon arrival/departure. I personally look after the property and do not use other agents therefore ensuring that everything is properly organised and the cleaning is all done by myself ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
The owner lives within close proximity and is therefore available to deal with any queries that should arise during a guests stay.
