Tucked away just off the Village Green on over an acre with stunning views of the village, Mt. Tom and Mt. Peg, you'll find here a perfect place for a family vacation, intimate getaway, girls weekend, or simply as a place to stretch out alone for a few days of rejuvenation. With all the comfort and conveniences of home, all-new interior, fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, outdoor relaxing area, washer/dryer, and a short walk into town, you will never want to leave!
About Maura & Todd Snell

We are a family from Massachusetts who fell in love with the rolling hills, breathtaking scenery, amazing foods, gorgeous art, and wonderful people of Vermont. This is our special place to come and enjoy all Vermont has to offer and we are delighted to share with you.

Why Maura & Todd Snell chose Woodstock

Our realtor called it a Diamond in the Rough -- and indeed it was! The old home was built in the mid-1950s and had seen little upkeep since. We purchased the property and immediately began renovations with Ambrose Custom Builders - a local Vermont Company who's owner, Chris Ambrose, shares in our passion for creating beautiful and comfortable spaces. Phase one of our remodel is complete -- the interior is simply stunning! This summer, we will work on creating gorgeous outdoor spaces that will compliment Chris' work in the interior.

What makes this cottage unique

Very private, but very close to The Green. Walk everywhere! Hike up Mt. Tom or Mt. Peg from the house, golf down at the Woodstock Inn, jump on one of the numerous x-country ski trails, or mountain bike trails, or cycle the rolling highways and bi-ways -- all can be done without getting in your car once you are here. Ample parking too.

Notes: This house is great for anyone -- while we do offer most things, we don't have a crib or pack-n-play or a high chair. The Bath is suitable for most -- tub for kids, but not roll-in-wheel chair accessible. Outdoor area is open and private with comfortable chairs, pillows, a grill, and a large yard for play. Beds are 3 Queens - room for 6 comfortably.

Gorgeous home in the heart of Woodstock

My wedding party and I stayed at this beautiful home for three days in early October. The house is located right above the center of Woodstock, within easy walking distance to town. At the same time, the house is extremely private, with a beautiful large yard surrounded by trees.

The house interior is brand new, spotlessly clean and tastefully appointed. The house owners are pleasant and prompt to reply to emails.

I give this renter my highest recommendation.
