Resort includes tennis, two pools, exercise facility, picturesque clubhouse dining room and second club house located on the river with lengthy fishing and crabbing pier. Spectacular tee to green view of 9th hole on Palmetto. course located on private cul-de-sac with 'forever open' space next to it. Screened porch and deck, digital cable tv and wireless high speed internet. Close to Hilton Head, Beaufort, Charlestown, Savannah, and Savannah airport.

My wife and I spent 6 great weeks at Callawassie and would highly recommend this location and villa. The villa is located on the golf course and is a short walk from everything the island has to offer...golf courses, club house, pro shop, restaurant, pools and tennis. There were days we never even got into our car. If you like golf, tennis, biking, relaxing by the pool or just taking in the fabulous low country scenery this is the place for you.
The facilities, staff and residents of Callawassie are first class.
The villa is exactly as it appears in the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. The owner was excellent to work with and accomodating in every way. We have already recommended this property to our friends.
This area is a great place to visit and explore. Hilton Head, Savannah, and Beaufort are only a short drive away and offer many shopping and dining opportunities.
We travel frequently and are particular about where we go and stay. This was a very good choice and we will return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Our stay was so perfect we are returning next week. There were no surprises, everything was what I expected. The owner was great. He was stranded out of the country (during SANDY) but still found time to email me before our arrival.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: many thanks. sorry about game tues nite. but you have all freshmen who have tremendous athletic ability (don't know about their sat's). kentucky will be right up there at the end. duke will have to beat them again to get natl title
