Cybelle Brown purchased this villa in 2005
Built and developed by Canadian designer Wayne Brown who built Ti Kaye Resort, Stonefield Estate Resort and Anse Chastanet Resort in St. Lucia. This house is a gem of a design and personifies Caribbean Living.
Quiet, secluded relaxed environment with the most beautiful views of one of the prettiest islands in the Caribbean.
Villa Cybelle is an absolute dream vacation destination. My boyfriend Mitch and I booked with another couple after seeing the incredible photos. In person, we were even more floored. We all stayed at Villa Cybelle from March 9-13, 2015. The villa had ample space for four people to exist comfortably. The main bedroom is situated downstairs with it's own (outdoor!) shower (all I can say is WOW, opportunity lost if you don't take advantage of this). Two beautiful guest rooms overlooking the ocean were situated upstairs, so privacy is of no concern if you want it. And that unforgettable ocean breeze sound is audible everywhere, thanks to the huge doors that open up to the terrace and the open-concept layout.
Our experience continued to get better and better as the days went on: the pool is always clean and at perfect temperature day or night; the lively and friendly housekeeper, Andrea, came twice and offered to cook some authentic Caribbean cuisine for us (there is a kitchen with all the amenities if you want to eat in); and Joan, the property manager was a stone's throw away if you ever need her (like when our car battery went out and we needed jumper cables! Joan arrived with help within minutes). Cybelle herself was very responsive via email and incredibly knowledgeable of the area. For lunch, she recommended going to The Pink Plantation House, a 5 minute drive away, for lush views and amazing food (YES to both), and for a special evening out, The Coal Pot in Castries is a must. Also less than 10 minutes away by car, the family owned restaurant has the most amazing sea food selection and is right on the waterfront of Vigie Marina.
I could go on writing about the many perks of Villa Cybelle but I think it's best you experience the magic for yourself. Hands down recommend this place for any vacation: romantic getaway, family holiday, and/or group of friends seeking good times.
From the beginning , our experience at Villa Cybelle was flawless: from the responsiveness of the owner, Cybelle , the great follow up from the property manager, Joan who sent us all the necessary details including a list of grocery for us to pick so we wouldn't arrive to an empty fridge ; her welcome and the warmth of Andrea , the housekeeper who offered to cock for us .
The villa has a great layout , very open and spacious with a fantastic terrace opened to a breathtaking view of the ocean we woke up to everyday .
All amenities were perfectly detailed , the decor is great and unfussy ; a/c in the bedrooms , great mosquito nets on every bed .The garden was beautifully kept .
The island is gorgeous and the people of St Lucia are beautiful and very helpful .
We enjoyed every moment of our vacation at Villa Cybelle and strongly recommend it!
We had an absolutely fabulous time at Villa Cybelle!
The beautiful, airy, clean house is extremely spacious with generous bedrooms and baths.
We spent most of our time at the house on the veranda, whether having breakfast, drinks or relaxing after dinner, while enjoying the beautiful views of the sea. We enjoyed the afternoons at our refreshing pool, basking in the sun on our lounge chairs with luxurious towels that were provided for the pool area.
Joan Paul, the lovely house manager was professional and meticulous. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the house.
Prior to our trip, she sent us a shopping list for us to complete so that food and drinks would be stocked upon our arrival.
Also, we corresponded via email regarding some activities we were interested in doing and restaurants where we wanted to dine, and she arranged everything while offering her suggestions as well.
Joan also arranged for our drivers, from picking us up at the airport to transporting us through the island for meals and sightseeing. She also charted a boat for us that took us down the west coast, to Marigot Bay and to Mango Tree restaurant, where we had a delicious lunch with magnificent views of the Pitons.
Our drivers, Pierre, Marc and David were all friendly and knowledgable about St Lucia. We had a wonderful time with them.
We were reluctant to rent a house, thinking that we 'd have to pack additional items, but almost every item was provided, from towels, to iPod dock, bottle openers etc.
The only items we needed to bring were soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Andrea, the housekeeper was there twice during our stay to change linens, wash towels and clean the house.
We highly recommend Coal Pot Restaurant and Pink Plantation House. Both restaurants serve delicious meals and have beautiful pottery for sale by the charming, artistic owner, Michelle.
Finally, the people of St Lucia are warm and welcoming people. We look forward to returning to St. Lucia and staying at Villa Cybelle.
This villa gives more than its promising.
Many times the pictures of hotels or vacation rentals look much nicer on internet then in real. In this case it was the opposite. This is one very beautiful and spacious villa with a lot of space, wonderful views and style, with everything what you can imagine up to the smallest details.
We came to St Lucia on the 24th of December in the Christmas evening, our ferry from Martinique was delayed, it was very strong rain all the afternoon, and we were waiting almost an hour at the immigration (don´t use ferry as transportation between the islands, take a plane) - not a really what you wish for the Christmas day in Caribbean.
But since the moment as the property manager Mrs. Joan Paul were awaiting us in front of the port hall with an umbrella and two rental cars prepared for us - the two weeks of relaxation has begun.
After 10 minutes drive from Castries at the green trees secluded hillside we arrived to the house and we were just impressed.
Lot of space, huge kitchen and dining area, the view the veranda, beautiful fresh flowers in every room end even the baby bed for our little daughter was a "king size" and the Bose audio just prepared to put your I pod into it.
Joan organized us things form the shopping list that we have mailed her in advance and a fresh fish, so the Christmas barbecue parte could start immediately. Not only that this is a gorgeous house - from the first contact to our last day in the villa we have received the exceptional care about every small detail from the owner and the property manager , and we were just enjoying the time on this beautiful Island
Villa Cybelle is lnestled in a small upscale community overlooking La Toc beach. The property has fantastic views of the entire northwest coast of the island and the island of Martinique. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene.
