Spacious Accommodation: This lovely apartment has been decorated to a high standard and has a stunning, large lounge and dining area. It also has a kitchen, two double bedrooms and a full bathroom as well as a seperate WC.

Tour London & Shopping: The apartment makes an excellent base from which to tour London. Tube access to all main railway stations to travel further afield. On the London Tour Bus route. Just around the corner from Gloucester Road Tube Station and Piccadilly/Circle/District Line tubes. 15 minutes from shopping at Oxford Street/ Bond Street by Tube.

Football and Tennis.: Any fans of Chelsea or other Premiership teams. We often have access to excellent tickets for Stamford Bridge. Just ask us in advance. For Tennis fans - book now for Wimbledon 2009. The District Line tube runs from Gloucester Road (just around the corner) direct to Wimbledon in 25 minutes, making this an ideal base.

A home away from home!

We had a four night stay in London in a group of four friends in November 2009 and were staying at this great Cornwall Gardens appartement.

I have been renting appartements for holidays many many times before and was hardly ever as lucky as with this one!
The appartement is beautifully decorated. Everything is to the highest standards and well kept and very clean.
It felt like our London home to us from the very first day on.

The contact with Gerry and his team has been very friendly and in all means accommodating. A great big thank you for that :o)

The appartement is located perfectly to explore the city. Not only the choice of three tube-lines from the Gloucester Rd tube station practically round the courner, but also the 74 bus route from Cromwell Rd that takes you eastbound on a kind of scenic route via South Kensington, Knightsbridge (past Harrods) and along the Hyde Park right to Marble Arch Oxford Street, as well as the 49 bus route from Gloucester Road that takes you northbound with just one bus-change to Kensington Church Street, Notting Hill Gate and up to Portobello Road into the very heart of Notting Hill.
The hip and upcoming Eastend, the Spitalfields and Brick Lane area around Liverpool Street Station sounds far away but is also actually just one tube-ride away on the circle line.

If I come back to London and won't be staying with friends, it's definately this appartement I will be staying in again.

Wonderful time in London in August

Our family of 4 (kids 11 and 14) enjoyed our stay at this spacious well furnished ground floor apartment. Apartment is in great condition, bathrooms and kitchen in good repair. Location is convenient, 5 minute walk to the tube, supermarket, Hyde Park and museums. Tesco Express was very handy for eat-at-home meals and sandwiches. Host Adam met us at the apartment on arrival and showed us around, including a walk to the corner to show where things are. For check-out we just left the keys in the apartment. Overall a great stay.

Lovely apartment

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at Cornwall gardens. The apartment is situated in a nice quiet area, is well kept, clean and spacious.(its the pink building in the photo)
The staff who looked after us were very helpful and as we had driven down to London they even helped with finding secure parking for the 4 days.
The apartment is close to the tube, supermarkets, restaurants and is very close to the London sightseeing (blue) bus route, Glouster Rd.
We did use the kitchen to prepare breakfast each day which had all the usual utensils apart from a frying pan. We also noted the wireless internet (although excellent reception in most of the apartment) could not reach the very back master bedroom (due to the thick stone walls i guess) however these were only minor inconveniences.
We always prefer to rent apartments / villas when we travel and I would say thas has been one of the best to date. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting london.

Comfortable and convenient

The apartment is quiet, comfortable and well-kept. The immediate neighborhood is very nice and convenient to transportation, only a 5 min walk to the Gloucester Road tube stop. There are also many restaurants and markets within walking distance. Our party included 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 younger child. We had plenty of room. Service for the apartment was great too. Our contact showed us around the neighborhood, helps us get a phone card, and responded quickly when we had a problem.

Loved London!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious and well-kept apartment. There were 3 adults and two small children and we felt right at home. The bedrooms were both large (especially the master) and the living area was very comfortable with two couches and a large plasma TV. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking and washing clothes. The bathroom was large with a big tub and there was an extra water closet which was a nice luxury. We walked to many restaurants and delis and were also able to walk to Hyde Park and the natural history museum. This was such a great experience. We want to come back!!
