New in 2006, Afallon is a modern, light and airy home with excellent accommodation. Decorated in a modern style by a professional interior design company, this house is attractive and functional. A good kitchen with eat-in area is at the back of the house, giving easy access to the spacious lanai with table and chairs for 6 guests. There are also good sunloungers and a large deck area. The pool has optional pool heat and there is a removable child safety barrier around the pool. The rear aspect looks out over an inland waterway. The master suite has a King size bed and a beautiful ensuite with tub, separate shower, his and hers vanity units and wc. Bedroom 2 has a Queen and Bedroom 3 has 2 singles, both sharing the 2nd bathroom. This house is equipped with all linens, towels including pool towels, hairdryers and an extensive kitchen package. All you need to bring is your suitcases and friends! We even supply cribs and highchairs, subject to availability, WiFi access and 2 bicycles

Rotonda is perfect for relaxing! Wide gulf beaches to the West and smaller, Caribbean style beaches to the South on the Island. The sand here is soft and is places you can find small fossilsed sharks teeth which are great fun to collect and identify. If you drove to Sarasota for a day, you have the powder white sand which it is famous for, although the beaches can become quite crowded. Almost everything can be reached within 15 minutes. That includes shops, restaurants, State Parks, Kayaking, Tennis and Golf. Rotonda itself has 6 golf courses and 4 of these form our Golf Scoop of which Afallon is a member. Free golf in the summer (just a single admin fee of £35.00 per booking and golf cart hire is a personal expense). From mid-December to early April, there is an additional charge of £35.00 per adult per week (max 2 adults). Fishing is another popular pastime here . Backwater fishing offers excellent sport for Redfish, Snook, Spotted Trout, Sheeps Head and Lady Fish.

    The prices quoted are subject to change. However, if you pay for your holiday in full at the time of booking, there will be no increase in prices or surcharges. If you pay the balance of your booking at least 8 weeks prior to departure, we will confirm the current price at the time of payment. This will then be guaranteed.

    A single £35.00 admin fee
    2 Adults and up to 2 children under the age of 14 (each accompanied by a playing adult) can play unlimited golf on 4 of the Rotonda Courses and all they pay for is golf cart hire.

    Baseball -
    We have access to 8 tickets for the Baseball at Port Charlotte Sports Stadium. Enjoy a free night out in prime seats and watch the Charlotte Stone Crabs (Minor A Team of the fabulous Tampa Bay Rays. Seats are on a first come, first served basis and only available for home games between early April and early September.

Would recommend a stay in Afallon

This is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in Rotonda. Afallon is beautifully furnished, very clean, well equipped, spacious, comfortable and well looked after villa. It is in a quiet and safe area. The view over the canal is peaceful and lots of wildlife can be spotted. We enjoyed our time in the pool and we used the barbeque several times and ate out on the lanai. Rotonda is centrally located with beaches close by, we especially enjoyed Gasparilla Island and Stump Pass, the villa provides beach equipment which was a bonus. There are several golf courses in Rotonda.
We used the bikes provided everyday cycling around Rotonda, going to Publix, Winn Dixie and along the Cape Haze Trail.
Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in Port Charlotte. We went day trips to Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sarasota and Boca Grande.
Being able to use our laptop around the villa with the broadband access was a bonus. It meant we were able to keep in touch with home. We would have loved to record some american tv programmes but the vcr/dvd player would only allow us to play vcr/dvds.
The property manager (Huge) was very responsive when one of the bikes had a flat tyre and was replaced promptly. The management company in El Jobean was welcoming when we went to pick up the Baseball tickets which were included in the rental
We had a very enjoyable stay here and would recommend Afallon to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rotonda. We hope to stay here again in the near future. Thank you for sharing your villa with us.

They are wonderful to our guests and very quick to sort out any requests they might have such as the bicycles. We're glad you enjoyed using the bikes, there are some good bike trails and it is so flat!!

We love our home too and spend as much time there as possible. It's still wonderful to hear that our guests enjoy our home as much as we do! We hope you will return to stay at Afallon again.

My family and I stayed in Afallon for our summer vacation 2009, we found the villa on arrival very clean and tidy. The owner provided excellent communication and also sent a booklet with great information prior to our arrival.

The villa was well equipt and had all mod cons. The decor was modern and very well maintained. We would recommend this villa without any hesitation for anyone visiting the area.

Only slight disappointment could be if there was a larger family there are only two sun loungers but plenty of seating, however this did not affect our holiday.

We would return to this villa for our vacation again.

On a financial note our deposit was returned quickly.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. We have discussed the possibility of adding two more sunbeds, but haven't had feedback from guests before. We are due at our home shortly and will review the situation. Thank you for your comments, they are very much appreciated. 2009 Holiday

Afallon was perfect for our second visit to the Rotonda area and we had a wonderful relaxing two weeks holiday.

The villa cannot be faulted, it is spotless and clean and was fully equipped with all that was required to make our stay perfect. Alas we don't play golf and we left the bikes parked in the garage.

The area around the villa is quiet with plenty of wildlife with the occasional alligator basking by the canal. Out and about there is plenty to see and explore, beaches and restaurants reachable in minutes. Travel a little north to Venice and Sarasota or south to Naples all reachable in a couple of hours.

You cannot fail to have a wonderful time at Afallon and we would recommend your Florida home to anyone looking for a holiday on the Gulf Coast
