Agios Nikolaos is a thriving small traditional fishing village, situated in the Mani region of Greece. The village is built around a small working harbor, where there is lots to see and do. The magnificent Taygetos Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for one of the most picturesque areas in the whole of Greece. There are a great variety of activities around and about, from walking along old donkey paths through olive groves to swimming in the warm blue waters of the sea to sightseeing and marveling at the sight of the amazing Mani fighting towers. Untouched by commercial mass-tourism this has to be a great place for a holiday.
