Over priced.

The minute we arrived at this property we realized that we had over paid for this rental. The street is extremely busy and noisy. It never seems to calm down until very late at night. I think the kitchen and bathrooms are quite out of date. The "half bath" is a toilet in the unfinished basement. The downstairs full bath doubles as a passageway into the downstairs bedroom and den. Very cramped. We found the wifi to be quite inconsistent in all but one room. No DVD player in the main room. The deck is new and nice, but a number of us tripped on the pavers that led to the deck stairs which I think was a hazard. The outdoor shower was great. I think this house is way over priced and would never stay here again.
Owner's Response: I find this appalling considering I was extremely flexible with these guests and I allowed them to bring their family dog and they assured me that they would take good care of my home. Not only did they bring one, they brought three dogs of which there was so much dog hair, that the cleaning company called me come to review the shape of the house. There were dog feces left on the carpeted stairs that the cleaning crew had to scrub out. They ruined one of my Claire Murray rugs in the kitchen, as well as left my brand new Maytag oven completely filthy on the inside. Also, my neighbors complained to me about how rowdy their three boys were, urinating in the driveway, honking the horn in the driveway, as well as using the bull horn at a deafening level at 8:30 in the morning. If they felt like they overpaid or the house was not up to there standards they should have contacted me in the beginning of the week. I never disclosed that the bathrooms nor kitchens were state of the art and I wil be updating them this year because I just bought the house 2 months ago. I would say if you are an owner, I would put a caution on renting to these people.
