Photos and Description of the Hvar vacation rental The double bedrooms on south side of island Hvar

The Guesthouse Matijevic is a newly redecorated house, positioned in a pinewood forest, about 200 meters away from the sea. The guesthouse is located on the south side of the island, in a lagoon called Jagodna. This is small and quiet place, located under St. Nikola’s hill, the highest hill on the island (629m), between Sv. Nedelja and Ivan Dolac. It is a small settlement of seven houses with a dock for smaller ships and two beautiful sandy beaches, ideal for families with small children. Room with double bed had bathroom, fridge, air conditions and terrace with sea view. Our guest in the Pension can enjoy in fresh fish, good domestic wine and other Dalmatian specialties. Our house also has a room with a billiard table, darts, bar and TV set, available to our guests only.

Nearest Airport: Split at 100 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: STARI GRAD at 30 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 200.0 Metres
Car: recommended
There are two ferry ports with car admission on Hvar; Stari Grad and Su?uraj. The port of Stari grad has a connection with Split and it is closer, and a ride to Zavala takes about 20 minutes, and that road goes cross the beautiful southern side of the island. The port in Su?uraj has a connection with Drvenik on land and is further away from JAGODNA(Sv. Nedjelja), because it is located on the other side of the island. Nevertheless, this link saves time for the tourists that are traveling from the Dubrovnik, Mostar or Sarajevo direction. The parking lot is situated right by the Pension Marjan. The gas stations for cars and ships are located in Jelsa and Vrboska.
