Our family bought this land in 1976 and had the home built in 1981. It is a modern architect designed, custom built house. We have spent many summers and Christmas family gatherings in this house. The surroundings are quiet with deer and other wildlife. The beach is great for petoskey stone hunting. The water is shallow with a slow gradual increase in depth; great for kids, swiming, kayaking and just getting wet. We built a place for cooking outside, having bonfires and making samores. We would love to share this beautiful and unique home with you and your family/friends. We are confident you will have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
Constructed of cedar inside and out, Rosehall gives the feeling of being inside a one of a kind home. The rocks in the entryway, porch and fireplace were gathered from the beach. The central fireplace with glass panels is visible from 4 directions. Eat, sleep, and view the beach constantly in this home.
Built in sofas, hanging lamps, open dining, there is a custom built feeling throughout the house. Modern, yet quaint, homey, quiet, and comfortable.
