Welcome to our self-catering 4-bedroom house located in the very centre of the idyllic town of Monschau. The house is a listed building and is an integral part of oldest quarter of town. Dating back to the 17th century the property was formally a weavers house and to this day boasts many original features, it has been fully restored whilst being sympathetic to it's heritage. Although the rooms are generous in size they are indeed very cosy and comfortable, but afford ample room if you are a family group or party. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower. The family lounge has generous seating and has a radio/CD player, FTA Satellite TV, DVD player with a large assortment of Bi Lingual films, many books and games for your use. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two single bedrooms in the property. The house is located a few metres from the market square and is ideally situated for a large selection of local restaurants and attractions

Monschau is located in the Eifel national park in an area of outstanding natural beauty. As the borders of Belgium and Holland are only a few kilometres away Monschau offers at great base to explore this interesting section of Europe. The Mosel and Rhine valleys with some of the greatest scenery and wines in Germany are easily reached by car. Within an hours drive lies the cosmopolitan and vibrant cathedral city of Koln. Closer to Monschau there are many attractions such as the Hohes Venn (Belgium) also Rursee Lake which offers water based activities or relaxing boat trips or you can just while away the day. Within Monschau there are many interesting things to do and see. In particular The Red House, The Mustard Mill and The Handwork Market. No visit to Monschau is complete without taking the small yellow tourist train around town. The train runs from the market square through the narrow streets finishing up at the Burg before making is descent back down to the market square once again

What a charming house that has been restored with love and care. Nice and clean and with all the comforts of home.
Marco, the local rep, was most helpful and was on hand if needed. Thanks for helping us with the parking token and also helping us reverse out of that narrow cul-de-sac :)
The owners also provided all the information we required.
The location couldn't have been better, right in the middle of the town. Monschau is a lovely town and the locals were very friendly.
We would recommend this house to anyone.

A great place to stay. Right in the middle of town. accurate description - low doorways though, not for those 6 footers unprepared to duck! Everything was clean and worked. The owners and the loccal rep are wonderful and really helpful.
Monschau is a real pretty tourist town. Lots of places to eat and drink. But it does quieten down in the evening. It isn't noisey even though you are in the middle of things.
