5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2300 square foot home on 100 feet of beautiful Torch Lake. Sleeps 10, washer/dryer, air conditioning, internet, satellite TV, fully appointed kitchen, land line phone, 40 minutes to Traverse City and airport, 30 minutes to Charlevoix, 10 minutes to Bellaire, 10 minutes to Alden, numerous golf courses, tennis courts, restaurants, boutiques, boat rentals and marinas.

About Owner/Manager

My husband and I, along with our three children, live in Okemos during the school year. I serve on the school board and run a home-based clothing business. My husband, Dan, born and raised in Okemos, owns a Mfrs Rep business, skied for the Univ of Colorado and Michigan Tech's ski teams and loves photography, biking and making dead trees into burnable firewood.

Why Owner/Manager chose Torch Lake

Building our dream vacation home was a pure joy and have enjoyed the past 22 summers on the shores of Torch Lake, the past 6 here at our beautiful lake home. Family and friends share the love of Torch with us and many have homes of their own nearby.

What makes this cottage unique

Driving down the long, tree-lined driveway is deceiving. When you reach the house, it opens up to a beautiful lawn, flowering bushes and the turqoise waters of the lake peeking beyond the house. White wicker furniture placed in cozy seating arrangements fill the wrap-around porch. A red door welcomes you into the open floor plan with living, dining and kitchen all connected.
