Boatmans Cottage was built in 1640 and retains many original features including beamed ceilings, oak flooring etc.  Very tastefully decorated & fully equipped. A real 'Home from Home' feel. Living room with open fireplace, full central heating throughout, three piece suite, colour plasma screen TV with all free view channels, video, CD digital stereo, wifi, telephone. etc. Kitchen/diner fully equiped with all mod cons. Dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, digital radio etc. Dining table. Ironing board with iron. Toilet, shower room. Private rear 'cottage' garden (South facing sun trap!) with patio area, table & chairs, parasol & BBQ etc. First floor Master bedroom with double bed, fireplace and river views. Main Bathroom with bath. Second floor - Double bedroom with river views. We can provide a pull out single camp bed for bookings with 2 children. Cot and high chair available on request at no extra cost. Also, ideally placed for major motorway.

A very pretty, quiet lane which leads directly to beautiful walks along the tow path. The town centre is a 2 minute walk over the bridge and boasts many restaurants, pubs, bars, sidewalk cafes, department stores and a large cinema complex. The main BR train station is a 7 minute walk from the cottage with frequent trains into London Waterloo (Journey time-20 minutes) Also, ideally placed for major motorway links (M25,M4,M3,M40,M1) and London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.TOURIST ATTRACTIONS Many boat trips including Windsor and Hampton Court Palace. London, Wimbledon, Surrey Hills, South Coast, all a short drive away. Legoland, Saville Gardens, Kew Gardens, RHS Wisley, Chelsea Flower Show, Thorpe Park theme park, Wentworth Golf Course, Ascot Horse racing, Wimbledon Tennis, London Theatres and shows, Theatre Royal Windsor, JKF Airforce Memorial.

We had a wonderful time here.We have a toddler and were delighted that it had everything we needed. It's in a very good location. Near a good pub,great river walks and also really near the shops. It's a gem.Cosy,lovely kitchen,comfy beds, nice downstairs shower as well as a main bathroom. The garden is really a special place to sit when the sun shines. It's clean and family friendly,the owner was a delight to deal with. I give it the three bears review,not too big,not too small,just right.I recommend it to friends and family,I will be back!
