My husband and I live upstairs with two rescue dogs, so you also have help all day long in case you need it. We are a laid back and friendly couple who retired in 2008 and built this house so that we could retire here. We lived and worked in Boston for over 30 years. I was a teacher and my husband in construction.
We are renting the entire downstairs and you will have all the privacy you need. We have our own private stairs to go upstairs.
I am from India and my husband is Puerto Rican. I wanted to move to a warm place when I retired and Puerto Rico seemed perfect since it is still the United States. I also meet a lot of Americans who have settled here or who are snow birds and that makes it more satisfying for me. I fell in love with this place while we were vacationing here. Most of the folks in my neighborhood are retired who have worked in the States at one time or another. Since I was a teacher in a private school, I am very good with children and I am willing to babysit for a fee.
Just watching the ocean and being one with nature makes this place unique. It is a spiritual experience for me everyday. I spend my afternoons reading a book on the Adirondack chair in the terrace and listening to the sound of the waves. There is no better stress reliever than this. Evenings are spent walking by the ocean with the dogs, or swimming in warm waters of the Caribbean.
