Forget about expensive hotels where you feel like you’re simply passing through. This house is a HOME!
This large 2300 square foot home is beautifully landscaped and near the end of a cul-de-sac, so it’s very quiet. The Master Bedroom is Spacious...with a walk in closet and built-in drawers (we challenge you to bring enough clothes to fill up the closet!) full en-suite with separate shower and garden tub and 2 sinks. One of the other 2 bedrooms has a beautiful queen bed with side tables, bureau, closet and TV. The other bedroom has 2 comfortable twin beds with bureau and closet. The full bath is steps away.
No matter how many people share your space, you can spread out and never feel crowded.
If you like to cook, you will find everything you need in the fully equipped incredibly generous kitchen, including a microwave, dishwasher and range.
Groups of six can comfortably dine in or out, on the sitting area out front with a view of Dinosaur Mountain, or in the newly designed back yard, plenty of seating areas and a spacious 6 person hot tub, where our home backs on to Dinosaur Mountain Golf Course with golf course and spectacular Superstition Mountain views. We have a patio heater to take the chill off those winter nights. And you’ll want to grill up some veggies and steaks on the BBQ while you enjoy the mild evenings and watch the rabbits and birds among the cacti.
From here you can experience the drama of the mountain sunsets they’re known for. Our “dark skies” ordinance means the stars are abundant, and candlelight is that much more potent.
Our home has a secure wireless hi-speed connection, flat screen Direct Satellite TVs in both masters and the great room as well as a phone (including free long-distance within North America). We have a PVR so you can enjoy those important shows for later viewing.
Other amenities include full size washer and dryer, water softener, attached double garage, air conditioning/heating and regular garbage and recycling pickup.
For those who like to venture out and see the attractions, there are plenty of them. If it’s sunshine and fresh mountain air you crave, this is a Mecca. We enjoy an average of 352 days a year of sunshine, so outdoors is where we love to be. You can do it all:
- horseback riding
- river tubing and kayaking
- boat rentals
- patio dining
- flea market
- live outdoor entertainment
- art festivals
There are many local restaurants with a variety of fare including a full service indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar at the golf course. Of course, nearby Mesa and Scottsdale also have notable eating establishments.
If you’re a shopaholic, or just like to see something different, you’ll be thrilled with our gorgeous shopping centers, malls, boutiques, galleries and museums—and don’t miss Olde Town Scottsdale. It’s a great place to buy jewelry.
This is still the ‘wild west’, so you’ll see constant reminders of the gold mining history in the local decor, as well as old western towns and movie sets.
If you like road trips on excellent freeways, you can go south to Tucson for a day or north to Prescott or Sedona. Grand Canyon is a perfect weekend trip. Whatever your pleasure, Arizona is a tantalizing blend of activity and relaxation, re-creation, and excitement.
And don’t be surprised if you’re on the receiving end of a wave and a smile from a stranger. Western hospitality isn’t just a myth. People are as warm as the weather here. In fact, we can pretty safely say you won’t want to leave, and you’ll probably be back.
