At the first and unique floor, in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road, this lovely and particular apartment has just been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have. One main bedroom with a large double bed facing the medieval walls of St. Remigio church, a second bedroom with twin beds on the inside court. A full equipped kitchen (you won't miss anything you need if you want to cook) with an antique table with five comfortable seats open on the secluded terrace with loggia. An elegant sitting room with a big sofa (that can be transformed in a regular single bed 90/200) and two bergeres, LCD TV and decoder. A totally new bathroom complete the apartment. You just turn the corner and you find any shop and service needed: grocery, bakery, fruiter, chemistry, take-away, supermarket. A really strategic position to visit and live this magnificent city.

The property is located in a quiet small road, Via Vinegia 2, between Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce, in front of the medieval walls of St. Remigio church: we are in the very heart of the historical center of Florence. Every famous artistic site can be reached in a few minutes: piazza Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, Pontevecchio, Palazzo Pitti. The area around the property is full of shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, internet point and wireless cafè and any services needed (supermarket, laundry, pharmacy etc..) This area is known as ZTL (limited traffic area) so in case you arrive with your car, there are special instructions to enter and park the car.

A house prepared with love to give you a place to relax after a full immersion in the beauties of the city! In case you need there are a free wireless cafè just around the corner and an internet point just in front of it!

History and leisure: The entire historical center of Florence has been declared Humanity heritage by the UNESCO and Via Vinegia is just in the middle of it! All the major sites are within walking distance: Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte vecchio, The Duomo, The magnificent church of Santa Croce: everything is just around the corner. And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walikng

Car: The center of Florence is closed to car with specific rules. We suggest you not to arrive with a car if you can. You won't need to use it during your staying in the city. But in case you should have it, we will be glad to give you all the informations you may need for entering and parking in this area.

An oasis amidst a facinating city

I have stayed in Florence before but can honestly say our recent stay in this apartment was the best experience.

The apartment is beautifully furnished for every need and has a luxury feel that does not fail in making you feel relaxed and special. The location is perfect for walking to all areas of Florence yet is located away from some of the tourist hot spots so you see more of day to day life as well. Everything you need is on the doorstep from sights, great bakeries to fabulous restaurants.

The apartment had everything we needed including an owner who was a pleasure to speak to (from booking to leaving) Simona really cared about our stay being enjoyable, this for us was the icing on the cake ! We arrived late and Simona was patiently waiting she gave us a great run down on the apartment and area , she was at hand for any questions through out the stay. We particularly loved the personal touches from Simona, the beautiful scents in each room, the figs she gave us from her garden, the effort in making the apartment so beautiful, the place was spotless and the furnishings fabulous. We loved the terrace and spent a lot of the evenings enjoying wine by lamplight, listening to the neighbourhood sounds. In the early afternoons you can sit and enjoy the opera practise occurring from a neighbour in the street , which really was a wonderful atmospheric treat. The old church across from the apartment is a great addition as one can sit and view it from the terrace, its architecture is breathtaking. From the terrace you can view the Palazzo tower in the distance ,this apartment is in the shadow of Medici history and as such offers and abundance of riches !

The terrace had plenty of seating and the effort to ensure it had an abundance of plant life and lamps was great, it was a real bonus to the apartment. The kitchen was equipt with all you need to cook Italian style. The bedrooms were light and airy with wonderful fabrics. The lounge had a relaxing large sofa and whilst we did not use the television there is the opportunity if you wish. The table in the kitchen area is rustic and perfect for sociable dinners. finally the bathroom is new and designed well, the shower was fantastic. The air conditioning has been designed to run well throughout the apartment and on a hot summers days its much needed and appreciated.

I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and we would return without a shadow of doubt, it is heaven in a heavenly place

This apartment was perfect for our month long vacation in Tuscany. We had everything that we needed - an ideal location, well equited kitchen, comfortable furnishings, a lovely terrace and a perfect hostess. Simona was so welcoming and helpful! Wtih 2 bedrooms we were able to have our adult children visit us and had plenty of room and they loved it too! Staying in central Florence made our travels so easy wheter by foot, train or bus. We even rented a car to visit the beautiful Tuscan towns. When we visit Florence again we will rent this apartment with no hesitation!! Grazie, Simona!!

Stunning Apartment

Centrally located, the apartment is in walking distance to all the major attractions of Florence. The apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and everything you need is supplied. The owner, Simona, makes you feel welcome on arrival, and is so helpful and informative. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Florence.

Terrace.... Flowers..... Perfect !!

This apartment surpassed anything we had expected. It’s on a narrow back street that didn’t allow for a lot of traffic but take a few steps and peek around the corner and you will find great restaurants (Trattoria da Benvenuto), a grocery with cold cuts and all kinds of delights (gelatos in every flavor), main streets and various piazzas (Piazza Sta. Croce and Piazza della Signoria) offering cathedrals, free evening concerts, sculptures, local artists selling their paintings, and fountains.

The kitchen was small but perfectly designed with everything needed to cook everything from a light breakfast to a full family meal. The dinette comfortably fits a family of six around its antique table. There is a living room with polished wood floors, sofa and two very comfortable chairs that sit next to two large windows giving a perfectly relaxed setting for reading or just talking after a busy day of sightseeing. The flat screen TV with cable adds a modern amenity to a room with wonderful ancient wood beams across the ceiling.

The bedrooms were large and tastefully decorated with individual air conditioning in each room, beautiful armoires, side chairs, and night lamps. The bathroom is modern, meticulously clean and also very tastefully decorated. The highlight of this apartment is a wonderful private terrace just off the dining area that overlooks the street below. It has flowers and plants all around with a bench and seats - a great place to sip a glass of wine before bed.

Simona, the owner is a delight. She’s warm, friendly, and a true professional. She takes pride in making sure your stay is everything you dreamed of by including special touches throughout the apartment such as the great scents in each room, little sachets hanging from the armoire doors, etc. Simona knew that we were celebrating an anniversary and she had a beautiful flower arrangement waiting for us along with a fruit and cookies platter. This apartment looks good on the internet but is actually much much better than it looks. If anyone is looking for accommodations in Firenza, this is the apartment is the one to stay in !

Super apartment; great location.

I stayed at this apartment with two friends for a recent stort break in Florence. Apartment was very well equiped with everything we needed. Very clean and all the linen was as good as new. Very central location but in a small traffic free side street so very quiet at night. I would highly recommend this apartment, thanks Simona.
