This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that sits on an acre with a long driveway up to the house, The master suite has a private entrance out to the back patio where a 6 man hot tub is ready for your enjoyment, the master bath has brand new tile shower and double sinks.
The other two bedrooms have queen beds and a shared full bath in the hallway we also have a queen aerobed to set up in the large living room for the optional 7-8 guest to sleep . The oversized living room is a great place to relax after a day at the wineries, 3 large windows with nice views, a seperate dining area seats 8, we created an area next to the kitchen with a small bar to sit or stand at and 2 comfortable chairs and coffee table which let's you visit while someone is cooking in the kitchen area, or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. A large wrap around deck and multiple patios to enjoy the outdoors,views of Duck Pond Vineyards with Parrot Mt. in the background make this home's location exceptional for a relaxing stay. And of course we are centrally located to many wineries and tasting rooms in the area.
The house was perfect! Loved the big sitting room and the beautiful sunshine in the morning--at least until the fog rolled in ;) I would definitely like to rent it again sometime in the future. It was very nice, clean and was perfect for a girls-get-away!
John, Debbie and our son's have been running a Vacation home in Dundee since 2009 called Hoot Owl Hill and have really enjoyed letting guests enjoy our home ( see our listing on VRBO # 259384 ) We found that we were getting requests for other homes close by for large parties coming for Weddings and Gatherings and when we saw this home come up for sale so close to our other home it made sense to purchase it.
John and I were raised here in McMinnville and our families are here so what better place to share a home with guests coming from all over to enjoy the Willamette Valley and all the surrounding beauty we enjoy everyday !
We decided to purchase this home because of the proximity to our other home, which we thought would allow large groups coming in for wine tasting, weddings, family reunions to stay close to each other. This property was perfect, smaller home but still sits on a nicely landscaped acre and is a short walk to our other home
Our home is located close enough to 99W with great acess to local restaraunts, wine tasting rooms and vineyards for a great expeirence while you are visiting the Willamette Valley but also on a private setting to enjoy some privacy . We took this ranch style home and updated it . The back patio is private with an elevated deck to enjoy the outdoors. Their is a side patio with a nice garden and acess to a wrap around deck in the front of the home. It will have a nice lawn for yard games below the front deck. A water feature is planned in the future, we found that our water feature at Hoot Owl Hill brings in lots of birds for viewing.
