The bathroom with shower is located in the hall. The kitchen is fully fitted to a high standard. The living area is well equipped with seating for all the family, dining table with 8 chairs and the living room with 2 sofas, there is WIFI, FST Television, CD and DVD player and the living area opens out onto the large patio area which enjoys sun and shade throughout the day, a small private lawn area and there is a path down to the pool and heated jacuzzi area which is set in beautiful well maintained gardens. Great holiday apartment!

I recently stayed here for 4 days with 4 girlfriends all aged mid-20s. This place was amazing and was JUST what we were after! The place was very tidy & included everything that we needed, from kitchenware, linen, comfy furniture, outdoor dining tables and sun loungers! We loved the whole place - very clean, spacious, with plenty of deck space and a great pool that we spent a lot of time at. There are numerous beaches locally and it's only a short distance from Lagos town - it's about a 25 min walk or 7 min taxi (which are very cheap). The owners were great & easy to contact, plus loved how easy it was when we arrived, no need to meet anyone as they just give you the combination for entry. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great beach break - thanks Jane!

Wonderful week in October

I spent the last week in October with various members of my family. We rented both apartments and had an excellent time. The apartments were as described if not better,comfortable, clean, spacious and very well equipped. The position of both apartments was also very good, particularly the ground floor one that I stayed in. Having the outside space to each apartment was lovely, having your own personal space with sun loungers and table for outside dining, as well as the pretty gardens around the pool. The weather (which I thought might be rather cool) was superb, and we were able to walk to the beautiful beach every day. It was warm enough for swimming, so the children all had a great time either playing in the pools and jacuzzis at the apartments, or splashing about in the sea. The beach was not at all crowded which was an added bonus for games on the sand. The cafe's on the beach are great for a drink or lunchtime snack.
The supermarket for day to day needs was a easily accessible and catered for everything you could need, and Lagos, which is a beautiful old Portuguese town a little further on. We had a lovely meal there one evening finding the waiters very happy to make the space for a large party.
I would happily recommend these apartments to anyone with or without children as the apartment with it's pool is fun and will keep the children entertained, and the proximity to the beach and Lagos great.
I also found the owners very helpful and easy to deal with which always makes booking a holiday less stressful. I will definitely be booking to stay here again.

The golden sands of Porto Mos blue flag beach is just 800m away with a choice of a couple of great restaurants and snack bar cafes. For golfers you have four outstanding golf courses with the Boavista 18 hole golf course just a few minutes drive away. A few minutes in the car and you are in the centre of the picturesque and historical town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping and markets. The award winning Lagos Marina also boasts more beautiful sites, restaurants, bars and shops. Dolphin watching, boat trips and day excursions can all be booked from here. For children there are a variety of water and theme parks within a 30 minute drive. Altogether an idyllic family holiday location.
