Contemporary fully furnished three bedroom house with screened porch and spacious deck overlooking the lake. multiple windows,wood stove, two full baths, laundry facility, woodland setting, pier and boat mooring, near Long Lake Township tennis courts and playing fields, 8 miles to Interlochen.
About The Owner

My four sisters and I came in the summers as children to Long Lake, learning swimming, sailing, appreciating the music if Interlochen. My husband and I had this house built on property given to us by my parents. Our children and grandchildren come from as far away as Oregon and Germany. They all have learned to love this beautiful lake on which the house fronts and the house nestled in among the birch trees.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 1992
Why The Owner chose Traverse City

This property is mid-way between Traverse City and Interlochen

Arts and Music Center. It is within walking distance of the Long Lake Township tennis courts and playing fields.

What makes this cottage unique

The house was designed by an Oregon architect. It was built by the son of the builder who also built my parents house nearby. The house arrangement provides very flexible space.
