WOOLACOMBE The QUEST is in an idyllic setting, with sea views, only a short walk to the centre of Woolacombe and the beach. This is a very spacious seaside home with period features and fine views of the hillside, dunes and to Baggy Point and over the village to the beach. The house comprises 2 very large bedrooms (one of which is en-suite) with sea views, large kitchen, spacious lounge as well as entertainment area and conservatory. This property can accommodate up to 8 when booked with the adjoining annexe ‘Little Quest’.

LIVING AREAS

Enter the property via the sun-trapped conservatory - a sunny, south facing room with dining table for six. Soak in the views as you enjoy your meals. From the conservatory, walk through a half-glazed door into the very spacious reception hall an entertainment area. This area has comfortable seating as well as a pool table. Double doors lead through to the formal lounge. Here you can sit and relax – a lovely space for reading and socialising. This room enjoys a wonderful open fireplace and stone surround with windows offering stunning coastal and countryside views, two comfy sofas, a leather tub chair and a wall mounted 40' flat screen HD TV with free sat and DVD player, stereo and iPod docking station for your entertainment. For quieter evenings, enjoy the interesting supply of books provided.

KITCHEN

This very well equipped kitchen has everything you will need for your self-catering holiday: Rangemaster cooker with double oven, grill, 4 rings, griddle & hotplate; dishwasher, breakfast table & chairs, microwave, coffee maker and blender. Door leading to back door and utility and store with washing machine, tumble drier, under-counter freezer and plenty of space for boards, wetsuits and outdoor gear.

OUTDOORS

The property is approached by a driveway with parking. Attractive terraced gardens to the front with furnished patio area facing south. There is an enclosed grassed area at the side/rear and a BBQ. The private, enclosed garden has a paved terrace with table and chairs for outside dining and is beautifully landscaped and maintained to a high standard with lawned area and lushly planted beds.

Woolacombe holds the 'England for Excellence Gold Award' for best family resort 1999 and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday - October 2000. Its beach has been voted one of Britain's best and lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand has won both the blue flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards for it's cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Life guards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water
