Experience authentic Laguna charm and old world elegance and comfort in our historic home built in the early 1900's and enlarged and modestly upgraded in the 1980's, in keeping with its past. Listed in the “Historic Resource Inventory - a listing of the best representative examples of historically significant architecture within the City of Laguna Beach” it is located on one of the most beautiful tree lined streets in North Laguna. An oasis of complete privacy and serenity, yet only 3 blocks from North Laguna’s uniquely beautiful cove beaches and grassy beach side parks. It is a short walk to Laguna’ s world famous art festivals, playhouse, galleries, restaurants, shops, bustling Main Beach and town center, where we have spent many an evening enjoying wine, music and people watching. Or you can take Laguna Beach City transit with regular summer stops a half a block from your door.
Park your car and walk to markets, churches, banks, tennis courts …. close to town and beach, yet quiet and peaceful.
This home is owned by a Laguna Beach designer and her husband who have lived here with their children for over 30 years. It is very livable and accommodating, having been the “go to” place for hundreds of great parties and family celebrations through the years.
It is our goal to provide a warm and comfortable environment for an unforgettable stay for a few select guests in the summer of 2014.

THE PATIO AND GARDEN - An outstanding feature of our home is the completely private and serene lush garden and patio that has been featured in the prestigious Laguna Beach Garden Tour. This beautiful outdoor space has a special inviting ambiance and temperature that is always comfortable.
Twinkling white lights and outdoor music surround you as you enjoy a completely private patio with ample comfortable seating, plus bar, dining table, outdoor tableware, gas fire pit, water wall, garden art and portable barbecue.
The house is wired for music indoors & out.
PARKING - Parking for 2 cars plus ample easy parking on the street in front of the house.
Within 1½ hour drive to San Diego and Los Angeles. Two hours to Palm Springs.
We were skiing in Aspen in the winter of 1978 and decided to drive to California to get out of the snow for a few weeks. We drove from northern to southern California and on the way landed in Laguna Beach for a mere 48 hours. As a designer, I have a keen eye for beauty and I fell in love. We went back to New Jersey, sold our historic 5000 square foot home on 2 acres and moved with our 4 children and my mother to our home in North Laguna Beach. After enlarging our 1930's 'Laguna Charmer' we settled in and over 30 years later, even after traveling around the world, we still feel like the luckiest family to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Our well loved home provides a unique opportunity to experience the real Laguna, as it is located in a special part of town with an eclectic mix of architecture and landscaping, wide streets, tall old trees and easy access to everything. It sits on a beautiful street just high enough to get a look at the ocean and feel its cooling breeze - yet my spirited 85 year old mother was able to walk to everything, every day. It is easy to get away from the bustle of town when you want to - or be in the thick of things when you are in the mood to shop, gallery browse, dine, dance, walk, swim, people watch - just about anything is at your footsteps.
Our completely private treed corner lot is cool and comfortable even on the warmest days. Authentic Laguna, peaceful and private, yet close to everything.
