We are the Truzinski family and have made Paradise Valley Montana our home. We spent nearly 15 years traveling to Yellowstone National Park to photograph and hike the back country. In 2007 we bought a vacation home in Paradise Valley on the Yellowstone River. We move to Montana permanently in 2011. We have previously lived in CA, OR, WA, and CO, and while those states have much to offer, MT captured our hearts and minds...so much so, we call this 'home'. In 2012 we decided to start a modest vacation rental business to share this magical valley with others.

My wife, Dee Dee, and I have raised two daughters, Megan and Erica. Both are attending Montana State University, Bozeman, a short hour from Paradise Valley. Our spare time is spent hiking and photographing throughout Montana with a special focus on Yellowstone wildlife photography. We know Yellowstone wildlife patterns and behaviors better than 99% of the visitors and would be willing to share our knowledge and expertise with you.

Megan Truzinski and DeeDee Truzinski purchased this bungalow in 2012

This property is across the road from our larger vacation rental (The River's Edge Rental also on VRBO). Since these bungalow is not 'officially' on the river (you have to walk 100 yards on a private trail to access the river) and they accommodate far fewer guests, we have priced these in the value range. Hotel rooms will cost you near this price and they are not nearly as well equipped, nor do they have the great location.

Yellowstone River access, view of Gallatins and Absarokas (views of Emigrant Peak). Private yet accessible.

Excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5
We were visiting Livingston for a wedding and were looking for a place to stay other than a motel. We were more than pleased with our choice! The bungalow is stocked with whatever you may need! It was clean, comfortable and very convenient for us. It rained he whole time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy any of the hiking or fishing but we did enjoy the Chico swim passes that were left for us! Would highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed staying at the bungalow. When we first arrived, after spending time in Yellowstone, we weren't quite sure what we would do. But the area is beautiful; Livingston definitely worth a visit, and we had a wonderful meal/visit at Chico Hot Springs. There are lovely vistas and trails in the area too.
The bungalow was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. And owners very attentive and considerate.

Cozy and cute cottage

  • 5 of 5
We enjoyed our stay at the River's Edge Bungalow. DeeDee was very pleasant to deal with and she even had welcome brownies ready for us upon arrival! The bungalow is big enough for up to 4 people and was very well-maintained. It was already well-stocked like a home so you can cook a gourmet meal during your vacation. We cooked steak, lobster, ribs and yellowtail sashimi during our stay :) Would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Yellowstone in the future.

Excellence!

  • 5 of 5
Perfection! So much better than any hotel room could ever be! Everything was thought of from the linens, to the towels, to the candles...Clean, and stylish. everything it advertised it would be, and more! Out of the way, and very quiet, with a beautiful view! We couldn't have asked for anything better! It was far enough away from the city, but not too far to go where we wanted to go.. It was by far the best vacation home I have ever had the pleasure of renting!

Outstanding hospitality and comfort

  • 5 of 5
Very comfortable and immaculately clean cabin in heart of Paradise Valley. Easy registration. Megan was efficient and friendly. The brownies waiting for us on the first day were a special touch. Spacious cabin for my wife and me. Well stocked kitchen. Couldn't ask for a better setup for us. Cold and snowy outside and warm and inviting inside. Easy drive to Yellowstone.
