A spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow perched at the head of serene Ucluelet Inlet. Our home is situated on the Ucluth Peninsula between the town of Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park making it ideal for naturalists, birders, beachcombers and surfers alike. Launch your canoe or kayak right from the house and paddle into pristine Barkley Sound or take a short stroll across the road to the Wild beaches of the open Pacific Ocean. This estuarine paradise offers spectacular wildlife viewing. Relax by the open stone fireplace watching Eagles and Osprey soar above while Harbour Seals stealthily hunt salmon in the shallows. Catch a glimpse of a Black Bear ambling by, if you're lucky!

Master bedroom has a king size bed, 2 piece en suite bathroom and separate entrance.

First bedroom has a king size bed.

Second bedroom has a double bunk bed and queen size futon. Sleeps 8 comfortably. All bedding and linens are provided.

Main Bathroom has a shower and sunken tub.

Amenities include: clothes washer and dryer, parking, wood burning fireplace. Outside deck with propane BBQ, table and chairs. The spacious kitchen is complete with dishwasher, microwave oven, convection oven/toaster, 2 refrigerators, upright freezer, 2 sinks and a coffee maker. TV with DVD player and VCR, no cable TV. Various board games, cards, chess, books for your enjoyment.

Growing up on Vancouver Island we have always been drawn the the wild reaches of the West Coast. Spending time outdoors beachcombing or sailing, surfing and hiking we felt that being on the coast was essential for us and our young family. To see our children running about freely on the beaches, without a care in the world, is one of the greatest joys we could experience.

We chose this house for it's location. It is central to most things we love to do. Kayaking, surfing, and just walking the beaches. Best of all worlds really. I love not having to drive anywhere. The Willowbrae trail is just a short walk down the road and after a 20 minute stroll through the rainforest you come to the sandy expanse of Florencia Bay. The kids love it there whether they are exploring the tidal pools, building dams in the streams or collecting shells. Nature's toys!
