My girl friend and I fell in love with this place the first time we saw it. Monique grew up in NY. She has traveled all over the world. I (Mark) grew up and still live near Lake Erie in Western NY. I've done some traveling, but nowhere near as much as Monique. Monique has been to Maui more times than she can count. Shortly after we met in 2006, she asked me if I would like to go to Hawaii (she didn't have to ask twice) and we have gone every year since. We love it in Western NY but we say we always feel better when we're in Maui (probably because we're not working). Some day we will very likely retire in Maui and probably in this condo, but in the mean time, we would like you to experience the luxury of our condo when we can not be there.
North Kihei is probably the most central location with the best climate anywhere on the island. It's quieter than the hotel areas in South Kihei, but only minutes from anywhere you may want to go.
I didn't have great expectations when I walked through the door the first time. We had looked at five other condos that morning, most of which made me sick at the thought of what it cost to own a piece of paradise. On the outside it looked pretty plain, but when the realtor opened the door we couldn't believe our eyes, it was clean, it had really nice furnishings and the appliances were top of the line. The views were amazing. Monique and I knew we found our place in paradise. We always thought we wanted to be in South Kihei, but we have realized it's always too busy when we were trying to get somewhere else on the island. It's much easier to get anywhere from North Kihei, and we're still real close to all that Kihei has to offer.
