Wonderful architect designed, two story straw bale Eco-friendly home. Built with the finest attention to detail. The house comfortably sleeps from 1 solo traveler to 4 people in two bedrooms. The master bedroom, with views of the San Juan Mountains, offers a mission style queen bed and hand made Santa Fe copper mirror. The second bedroom can be set up with a king bed or two twin beds at your option. Photo shows king bed set up, but can be quickly converted to sleep two children. Downstairs you will find a comfy living room where you can recline and read while enjoying the view. The dining room opens onto a flagstone patio and fully landscaped yard. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. The house offers high speed internet and WIFI, flat screen television (no TV service is provided) with DVD player and sound system. Unwind by going fishing at Ridgway State Park or soaking at Orvis Hot Springs. You can walk over to the Chipeta Sun Lodge and enjoy the sunset from their rooftop restaurant and bar. Ridgway is laced with walking and biking paths that lead through winter habitat of Bald Eagles to Dennis Weaver Park. We are conveniently located a short drive from Telluride so you can ski or attend Telluride's famous festivals - Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and Film. If antiquing is your thing, visit the many shops in Ridgway and Montrose. Be sure to stop for an ice cream at Ridgway's own amazing Cafe Ridgway an ice cream parlor for young and old.
