About Richard Wm. King
The house and farm were a wedding present to my
grandparents when it was built in 1915 and has been in the
family since then. It was an operating farm until the mid 1980's
and is now used for recreation.
Richard Wm. King purchased this house in 1915
Why Richard Wm. King chose Rockford
We have retained the property in the family due to its
uniqueness. It is manage as a certified family forest. It
has an orchard, prairie restoration and wildlife food plot.
What makes this house unique
The house has a unique setting, nestled in a mature oak
forest. You can enjoy the beauty of nature, take advantage of the recreational opportunities or explore Dixon's quaint downtown and many historic sites.

Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to rent your property during our wedding weekend. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the backyard. Thanks again.
