Welcome to our charming Studio Apartment in the beautiful town of Nice! The property has been designed to a very high standard to provide a comfortable, fully equipped base from which to explore charismatic Nice & the surrounding areas. Ideally situated in a quiet residential area, the Studio is a 5 minute walk to the centre of the Old Town. A pedestrianised area bustling with atmosphere, shops, museums, art galleries and numerous bars & excellent restaurants serving International as well as local 'Nicoise' cuisine. It is located in the wonderful Port area of Nice with its stunning Yachts and array of surrounding restaurants and bars. Ferries are available from the Port to visit St Tropez, Monaco, Sans Romeo and the Island of Corsica. The studio is close to the Train and Bus stations for day visits to Monaco, Grasse, Antibes, Cannes and Menton (currently 1 only 1 euro!). With the ocean on one side and the mountains as the backdrop, Italy and France come together in Nice!

There is so much to do you have to plan your time carefully. Walk upto the stunning gardens which are situated above the Port for panoramic views of the Old Town, New Town, Port area with the Alps as the backdrop. Meander through the Old Town with its narrow streets and shops selling freshly made pasta, local cheeses, oils and wines to name a few. The Old Town opens up into the Cours Selaya a stunning market area selling every type of the freshest produce which brings out the chef in all of us! If you prefer someone else to do the cooking, choose one of the many excellent restaurants situated along the perimeter of the market all offering excellent food with outdoor seating, a better way to spend the day I have yet to find! The ocean is on you doorstep but also visit the nearby Ville Franche, a beautiful port village with sandy beach, a 10minute bus ride away, cost 1euro! On the rail service visit Grasse for perfume, Monaco for the Grand Prix, Cannes and Antibes to people watch.

  • The rental charges are inclusive with no extra costs. Rental includes bed linen, towels, electricity and cleaning at the end of your stay. A Deposit of £100 per week is required to secure the booking with the remaining balance due 1 month prior to your stay. For late bookings the full amount is due at the time of booking. A GBP sterling cheque or bank transfer are acceptable forms of payment as is credit/debit card details. NB for period 3rd April 2010 to 3rd October 2010 we only accept bookings for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday, otherwise we have a minimum stay of 5 nights

There is a ski bus that leaves the Bus station (5 minute walk from the apartment) at 7.30am in the ski season to local ski resorts including Isola 2000 and Auron. The bus takes you directly to the ski resort where ski's can be rented on a daily basis. The bus then leaves around 5pm to return to Nice around 7pm. The ski pass is included in the cost of the bus and must be booked 24 hours in advance at the bus station. 2009 price 30euro.

A small but modern apartment on the first floor. Has a lift. Everything necessary can be purchased in local shops nearby on any day of the week. About 15 mins walk from the bus station (Gare Routieres) from whence buses for Euro 1 go everywhere - except to the airport (Euro 4). The old town and harbour are within 5 mins walk and there are many restaurants nearby. We'd go again. Take a dressing gown - privacy from across the street is still to be worked on!

Wonderful apartment!

We stayed here for three nights in September and found it ideal for our purposes. The (England-based) manager was extremely pleasant, and efficient and the rental was arranged quickly and easily. The apartment itself was spotless and well-appointed and the neighbourhood fine. On one night we were a little disturbed by motorbikes revving a lot outside, but mostly it was peaceful and the blinds kept the flat cool and dark. A fantastic base for exploring the area, with lots of interesting bars and restaurants nearby. The pizza restaurant where you pick up the keys was very good, as was the baker on the corner. We hope to return very soon!

Clean/Modern Studio Apartment

This apartment can be found very close to the port of Nice and is a great location for exploration throughout the city. You are very close (5 mins walk) to restaurants (all kinds of cuisine), pharmacy's, shops, bars, art galleries, markets, beach (very pebbley) and a bus system that can take you to Monaco, Nice Train Station, etc, all for 1 euro. Me and my girlfriend enjoy walking and found most of Nice's attractions within walking distance.

When we arrived at the apartment we found it very clean and contemporary in design with all the utensils, equipment you need for your stay. A TV with inbuilt DVD player can be found here so you can relax after cooking yourself some fresh fish bought from the local food market and enjoy a film (only a few are provided, so bring some for yourself).

We did stay in August and found Southern France very hot and humid. The apartment has no Air conditioning but it does come with a huge fan which (in order to sleep) we had on all night pointing right at us in bed. This is the only minor gripe but then you shouldn't really visit southern France if your not keen on hot weather. All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay and fantastic holiday.

Very nice !

I think this was our 6th time in Nice. We stayed in this apartment the first week of august. It is in a rather quiet street and near everything you would like; busstation, beach, port, old town, restaurants, several supermarkets and a very good bakeryshop seconds from the doorstep. A short walk away is a shoppingmall with a large Carrefour supermarket. All you forgot at home will be in this shop. The apartment itself is very nice, new and big enough for 2 persons. I liked the colours of the flat, red and white. We didn't see or hear very much of the other inhabitants of the building. The owners bought a big ventilator, you need it when staying in Nice during july and august. The restaurant in Rue Cassini where you have to collect your keys is a good place for a pizza. Camp Caffé at Place Garibaldi is also good for drinks and dinner. The staff is very friendly. Don't forget to go to Place Massena when it is dark, there is a very lovely group of statues with changing colours.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

The apartment was in a perfect location for the port, beaches and old town and very close to local supermarkets and a great local bakery. Well-equipped with everything you could need, it was beautifully presented and very comfortable. The train station is within easy walking distance and has great links to places like Monaco. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it couldn't have been more easy to organise. Thank you!
