When did you last enjoy cooking with friends? Need to relax? Swap a busy life for a quiet, rural haven of gentle rivers, historic market towns, and rolling hills of sunflowers for which the area is famous. This spacious Gascon Miller's House, is a mix of contemporary & country. 2 of the 5 bedrooms have hand- carved 4 poster beds dressed in silk. All bedrooms overlook either garden, river or woodland. Set in approx 1 acre of garden with BBQ pit, summer kitchen/ games room, plus private woodlands and field. River frontage, small beach & a waterfall! Kids - as well as the swimming pool, there’s also lots of fun to be had both in and around the river, from building sand castles, driftwood sculptures, water dams and swimming. There's also a small woodland to explore where you are welcome to build dens and exercise some imaginative play.. Thermal Spas and Casino, 20mins. Mountain hiking, paragliding, rafting etc within easy reach. Toulouse 1 1/4hrs. 2hrs to Mediterranean.

Close to Historic market town of Auch & amidst beautiful cycling and driving scenery. They say that the people of Gascony live longer than anywhere else in France which Gascons attribute to a daily dose of red wine, duck fat and garlic. The area is a paradise for gourmets, whether it’s foie gras, confit de canard, cassoulet or the wealth of local produce available at local markets. With more than 10 markets within a 40 minute drive of the moulin you don’t just shop for regional produce, you sample it too! There’s even Armagnac and wine at 9.00am. By the time it is noon you have usually sampled enough to skip lunch and go straight into siesta mode. Gascony's mild climate has assured its wine-growing status since Roman times. Local cooperatives produce excellent and reasonably priced white, red and rosé. Then there's the festivals: Jazz, children's, Bandas, Latino & country & western festival at Mirande which also attracts Harley Davidson die hards.
