DIRECTION FOR CATELANO - 1 - :
from Pisa airport as you come out of the airport, take the blue raod Fi-Pi-Li (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) direction Firenze. Don't follow the green signs to the motorway. Continue along this road as far as Scandicci where you come off and take the motorway, direction Rome, as far as Firenze Sud. Come off the motorway at Firenze Sud. Do not take the first turning for Pontassieve follow the directions to Firenze up to the end of the flyover and keep in the right hand lane. At the traffic lights at the end of the flyover turn right following the signs towards Forlì, Pontassieve. You will be driving along a road called Via Generale Dalla Chiesa. Continue straight along this road. The river Arno will be on your right.
DIRECTION FOR CATELANO - 2 - :
You will come through the following villages: Girone, Anchetta, Compiobbi, Ellera, Le Falle and Sieci. At the first traffic lights in Sieci turn left in the direction of Olmo, Santa Brigida, Molino del Piano, Doccia. Pass under the railway bridge and go straight on. After about 2 km there is a road bearing to the right which leads to Molino del Piano. Go through the village and in the second piazza (square) follow the signs out of the village towards Doccia. The road winds up the hill. When you come to Doccia, don't follow the road to the right (towards Monterifrassine) go straight on, you will pass a Trattoria 'Maccherone'.
