This is the second time I have used the Eagle's Next and both times have been fantastic. The first visit was with my family and another family and the second we used it for a Staff Retreat for our organization. The house has lots of space and all the amenities you could need.
We found the Eagles Nest to be very charming, and comfortable. This home is much better equipped than most rental homes. My 4 yearl old daughter was so excited when she found a small basket of wildlife figurine toys. They kept her busy for two of the four days. Very nice kitchen, with plenty of pot, pans , and dishes. We had two families of 6 plus one more. There was ample room to disperse or gather. Love Love Loved it!
We had an excellent winter stay at this large house! The gas fireplace and large heated garage were great for winter travelers! The only thing we didn't like was the dishes needed to be pretty clean before going in the dishwasher but this was super minor. We'll for sure be back if we can!
This place is amazing. Big enough to hold all that it advertises comfortably, but not so big you get lost inside. Great decor and location, and a kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired.
Will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.
Just returned home from a wonderful week's stay at Eagle's Nest, an extended family of seven people. We loved the house and the location - beautifully decorated with Native American and other art and artifacts, with every possible amenity you could want. Comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and a nice location right at the edge of town. Convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone (5 minute drive), and walking distance to the Running Bear Pancake House - which was a tasty, family-friendly restaurant just a few minutes walk. Had not been to Yellowstone before, and was so impressed with everything this very first national park has to offer. Having this lovely home as our base made it perfect. Highly recommend.
This was my bucket list trip. I wanted to be based in West Yellowstone, so I searched HomeAway.com and found this particular property. I could not have had a better experience. This was the first time I had ever booked a vacation rental through HomeAway.
The house was an older home, but clean and well kept. It was also well stocked with spices and such in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were well used and much appreciated. Our family enjoyed our stay there.very much.
Mark McPhie was such a pleasure to work with and was very gracious in answering the questions that I had along the way. He was always prompt to get back with me and provide whatever information I needed.
I would recommend HomeAway and I would work with Mark McPhie anytime I decided to go back to West Yellowstone. The Eagle's Nest is a great house!
Location is ideal for all summer recreational activities and visiting Yellowstone National Park. 5 minutes drive from the West gate of YNP.
During the winter months the house location is ideal for Nordic cross country skiing, snow shoeing and/or snowmobiling.
