Great Place, met our needs
Two families (3 of the adults - lawyers with 5 kids total (ages 5-10)), shared this place. I think the pictures are exactly what you get (no better or worse). I don't know if it was the week we went or what, but we were alone at the pools almost the entire time. The beach club next door - same - alone (seriously). You are as close to the ocean as humanly possible, but be aware, the beach doesn't have any real beach. Its sandy and nice waves and nice to swim in, but there isn't much of a tide, so you sand castle building, etc.. The unit is very open air and really was great for us. The bigger complex, Palmas Del Mar had everything you need. Numerous restaurants, deep sea fishing (most of us got sick, but it was fun going to monkey island), and horse back riding along the beach was fantastic. Humacao was the wrong side of El Junque, so you have to drive all the way around it, but its still only a 45 minute drive. We went to Calebra Island by ferry, which was fun and easy. We went to Luquido (spelling) beach, which was also nice. Be forewarned, everything in PR was inexpensive except meals. The meals were extremely expensive, for some reason. We would definitely go back to this unit/resort and PR. We had a great experience and trip. I did not give this place 5 stars b/c it was a little hassle getting the beach passes and checking in was slightly more complicated than I would have liked (again, not impossible, but not perfect either). The complex consierge and security guards (you go through two separate gates to get in) were extremely nice and very helpful, as was Anna, the property manager.
