Kailua Kona House Rental Photos and Description
Cozy, comfortable, close to beaches.
This suite is in a wonderful beach house in a quiet neighborhood. Less than 2 blocks from Magic Sands Beach and snorkel beach. One bedroom suite with screened in lanai, kitchenette, dining room, living room, full bathroom, and ocean view. Lots of private off street parking. Home is situated to catch the trade winds for that cooling breeze. Lush and tropical.
There is a gazebo with table, chairs and a bbq for grilling. Two transit systems run down Alii drive making them very usable. One mile south of us is Keauhou Center. It has a grocery store, drug store, post office, movie theater, restaurants and a organic farmers market on Saturday mornings. A 5 minute drive in the other direction is the ocean front town of Kona. Lots of shops to browse through, restaurants, and historical sites. You can even sign up for a Luau, snorkeling, scuba diving, submarine ride, tour trips and many other activities while there.
Kona also has some of the most beautiful sunsets ever seen, many watch for the green flash as the sun slips over the horizon.

About David Hamm
My wife and I grew up on the coast of southern California where the ocean was a big part of our lives. We decided to make a move to the Big Island to enjoy the great year round weather, warm water, healthier and slower lifestyle.
David Hamm purchased this house in 2012
Why David Hamm chose Kailua Kona
We bought this property because it was beautiful, in the same wonderful neighborhood we were living in and close to the most popular beaches in Kona. The owner had taken such good care, it was designed to take in guests and we saw it as a opportunity to continue making it a place that can be enjoyed by visitors wanting to experience the Kona lifestyle, something we get to live everyday.
What makes this house unique
It is so close to the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing on the lava rock at night. You can walk down to the beach to watch the sunsets.
