Guys fishing weekend

Six of us enjoyed a long weekend at this property mid-April. Weather turned cold and windy the Thursday we arrived so instead of spending all day on the water we hung around the cabin quite a bit. As a person partial to older cabins I absolutely loved this place. Very clean. The screen porch as well as the grill and firepit on the stone patio outside were a bonus. The location, about a half mile from the public launch, was ideal for not only convenience but access to several good fishing spots. We limited out two of the four days, big fish 5 lb. 9 oz., all caught within a five minute run of the cottage. The stairs leading down to the cottage from the road are steep and a bit irregular, so beware. But the upside to this arrangement is the slope behind the cabin insulates you from road noise, etc. giving you a blissful sense of privacy. Won't hesitate to book this property again in the near future.

Owner's Response: I am so glad you enjoyed the weekend, though sorry it turned so much cooler this spring. There is a railing to use with the steps, and I encourage everyone to pack light. But, it is certainly a private, tranquil setting and relaxing to most people. So glad you had success at fishing as well as a fun time with the guys!
