The Pictures Cannot Do This Home Justice!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and 3 children stayed in this home for 3 nights, and while I expected the home to be adequate, I was blown away upon actually arriving! The home was neat and clean, smelled amazing, and oh my goodness, the view is indescribable. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths gave us all plenty of room, and the hostess Rachel thought of every detail. Plenty of linens, a fully stocked supply of pots & pans, a reading library, even toys and board games to help make our stay feel more like home. We regularly took the ferry across to Quebec City or site seeing and church services and shopped in the local grocery stores on our side of the river. We cannot wait to come back and explore beautiful Qebec! Rachel, you are the best :)

A Superb Home Away from Home.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for three nights. There were three of us, all preferring our own bedrooms rather than staying in a hotel (as we had done in the past). The pricing was not that much different, and I must say the experience was top notch! Everything was absolutely spotless and welcoming. We brought items from home that were provided at the house. It was literally like being in your own home. There is a beautiful deck (which was too cold for us to use, but hopefully we can in our next visit), and three great size bedrooms, full kitchen, dining and living room along with two bathrooms. The view from the living room was mesmerizing. Each night we would sit on the couch just to watch the lights twinkle in old Quebec and the ships sail through the river. The owner lives in another apartment and was there to make sure our stay was comfortable. It was my first time using HomeAway, and though I was a bit apprehensive initially, I would recommend it and will do it again. The place is even better than the pictures and write-up. Thank you. Hopefully we will be back. Kim

Oh My God what a spot!!!!!!!

Honestly, you have never fully seen or felt the beauty of Old Quebec until you have stayed at this amazing place!!! Upon arrival we were very pleased with the apartment, it was super clean, everything you could possibly need with all the comforts of home and also very quiet. Now about the view.....arriving in mid-afternoon we thought the view was outstanding....but then when it starts to get dark, that's when the magic starts to happen! WOW!!!!!!! You feel like the whole city with all its charm is right there on you lap!! We had stayed in Old Quebec before but nothing comes even close to this place. We briefly met the owner Rachel who was simply terrific and also happen to get the chance to chat with her mom. What a charming lady!!!!! Guaranteed, if you decide to give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!!!!! honestly!! Thanks again Rachel!

Going to be hard to top this experience!

  • 5 of 5

We just stayed here this past week and the house far exceeded our expectations!! Photos are very accurate. Home was immaculate! View is amazing! Little touches reminded me of the 5 star hotels that we usually stay at. Neighborhood is very quiet and quaint. Have already sent the link to family and friends that I know would enjoy this trip as much as we did. We could not have been more pleased! Owner was very helpful with requests for recommendations for dinner etc. Highly recommend!

Wow !

Do not believe the owners write up. The apartment is FAR MORE spectacular, the view is FAR MORE breathtaking !!! What a PERFECT location. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The Rachel is as charming as the apartment (she takes after her mother) !!! My wife never wanted to leave the apartment to explore, she just wanted stay in and absorb all the beauty. When we did go out, how fun it was to park the car, and just take the ferry across the Seaway to Quebec City. We would return at night and walk to some great restaurants in Old Levis. Don't miss out on this amazing property. Thank you Rachel.

Quiet perfection!

  • 5 of 5

It has been four months since our visit and I still can't stop thinking how beautiful this place and our stay was. It was a family trip with perfect balance of something for everybody to enjoy. My wife and I would take a quick ferry ride at night to Quebec, our children loved the park behind the apartment and my parents enjoyed the piece and quiet with amazing view of the city and river. The apartment had absolutely everything you need with perfect combination of modern practicality and vintage artistic details tastefully placed. Family breakfast in an open living room watching the sunrise over the beautiful skyline of the most romantic city is something we will all remember forever. Thank you for the great memories and we cannot wait to come back soon....very soon
