Photos and Description of the London vacation rental 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, located between Wimbledon Village and Town Center.

Our house is a lovely 2 storey house on a quiet tree lined road in Wimbledon between the town, mainline railway station and the village. We are very close to all amenities including shopping, Wimbledon Common, the station and sporting facilities including golf courses, riding schools (2 in the village) Wimbledon park and central London which is 20 minutes away by train. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. The garden is a delightful mix of lawn and patio with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ. Inside there is a large modern open plan kitchen with all mod cons including a built in coffee machine for espresso and cappuccino. The dining table seats 8+ on comfy leather dining chairs. In the kitchen/dining/sitting area there is a large flat screen TV with cable connections and a DVD/CD system and further comfy seating for 8. There is a large separate sitting room that seats 8 also on the ground floor.

Wimbledon is a vibrant South West London suburb, 20 minutes by train from the West End and City of London. It is perfect for families who wish to explore the richness of central London, nearby Surrey and the South Coast, while being close to all amenities. There is good shopping in the Centre Court Mall, 5 minutes walk and the wonderful boutiques of the High Street in Wimbledon Village, a 5 minute walk up Wimbledon Hill. Nearby Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park offer multiple golf courses, horse riding, off-road biking, woodland walking and amusements to entertain all members of the family. Wimbledon has its own vibrant theatres for West End productions and a children theatre and the annual Cannizaro Park Festival attracts the best of artists, musical and comedy talent. There are several exceptional cafes, pubs and restaurants in the Town Centre and Village. The All England Lawn Tennis Club is a 5 minute drive from the house or a 10/15 minute walk.
