El Campo del Mar is perfectly situated on the Bay of Banderas just outside of the city and only minutes away from the PV International Airport and town center. The villa complex is reminiscent of old Mexico in its traditional Spanish colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and beautiful common areas. Due to Garza Blanca's pristine location on the bay, its beauty cannot be duplicated and remains a sought after destination by world travelers.
With comfort and class in mind, the villa's formal entry invites you into a spacious great room with breathtaking views from Los Arcos and beyond to the south, around the bay and across to the point of Punta de Mita. The great room opens up onto the terrace with gorgeous mountain, jungle and river views into the gourmet kitchen with pass through counter and out on to the private patio and heated pool through large bi-fold doors. Whether you choose to try your hand at preparing a meal with fresh local ingredients or secure an available cook, the casa offers three dining areas each with its own incredible view. From the pool and patio, the master bedroom and sitting area can be accessed further demonstrating the private, casual yet elegant living that the home affords. The blend of antique artifacts and contemporary finishes represents the aesthetic that is Mexico today. WI-FI is provided. From serene sunrise and moonrise, spectacular sun and moon sets to star filled skies at night both during and after your stay, you will find that El Campo del Mar exudes a feeling of warmth and serenity and, with its many visual delights, beacons you for a return.
We live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy a change in season from our local winters. The tropical climate, wonderful warm people, diverse activities of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas, warm waters of the Pacific Ocean and Banderas Bay and add Garza Blanca...well, Sandy and I have found our slice of paradise.
Our family has been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta since 1986. We have had the pleasure of knowing Garza Blanca through our many stays as guests and when the villa of our choice became available, we took the appropriate steps to secure it.
Undoubtedly the best view of the bay, we love dining on the patio enjoying fresh fish and shrimp on the grill lingering until dark to watch the nightly fireworks. We enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace observing the many varieties of birds in the river valley jungle. Whale watching in season and the passing dolphins delight our guests as they watch the cruise ships enter the harbor from the ocean through the bay and view the smaller boats passing from the harbor south to the beaches of Mismaloya and Yelapa.
The beautiful white sand beach just below our complex -Playa Gara Blanca for starters then the many other beaches around the bay. Mismaloya Beach to the south of our villa offers great swimming, traditional palapas and beach side dining & people watching. Los Arcos landmark located near by. A panga (sm. boat) can be securred from Mismaloya or Boca (farther south) for snorkeling, whale watching and day trips to beaches farther south accessible by boat only. Zip lines over fresh water rivers in the mountains, adventure tours, dolphin interaction, turtle release, and all water sports are available in the bay area. Art tours, local Saturday markets, shopping and strolling the beautiful Malecon (boardwalk) along the Pacific Ocean all must do's. Weekend evenings along the Malecon feature mimes, musicians, artisans, local cuisine and mingling with the local families of Puerto Vallarta. Our home is perfectly located and just a short bus ride into town to enjoy the city yet far enough out of the city to hear the surf and watch the whales and dolphins by day and fireworks and stars at night. Our botique enclave of villas and casas cascades down the hillside providing panoramic bay views, mountain and jungle views and bird, dolphin and whale watching from the patio, terrace and most windows. The south side of the bay boasts 5 star hotels and resorts within a short walk, taxi or bus ride.
