'Bay Street Tellin' is a two bedroom, two bath, harbor front home located in the heart of colonial Hope Town, an 18th century village on the island of Elbow Cay. This newly renovated home has colorful Bahamian furnishings, fine local artwork, central A/C, high speed internet, Direct TV with DVR, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The large, wrap-around deck is equipped for cooking (gas grill), outdoor dining, and relaxing. It is the perfect place to watch the village come alive in the morning, and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset over the harbor.
Beautiful beaches and village amenities are just steps away from your back gate, and our private dock and golf cart parking are in front of the home.
Hope Town has become the Bahamian destination of choice for the discerning traveler. Its fine restaurants, good grocery stores and interesting shops are only surpassed by the island's genuinely kind population.
My wife Sue are retired, and we love to travel. A favorite trip is to Los Angeles to visit our grandchildren, but we also enjoy trying new destinations.
Van Lawrence purchased this house in 1994
Bay Street Tellin is located where the action is. there is always something happening out in the harbor, and it is fun to watch. If you are looking for total privacy, this home is not for you. But if you enjoy being part of a community, there isn't a better place.
Outdoor living is what the bahamas are all about, and with its big, wrap around deck, Bay Street Tellin delivers. The deck has 3 distinct areas (an outdoor kitchen, an outdoor living room, and an outdoor dining area), so outdoor living is a snap.
