Braides Lodge is situated just outside the quaint village of Cockerham near the historic City of Lancaster and Morecambe Bay. Sleeping up to 4 people this beautiful self catering Log Chalet has been furnished to the highest standard offering all the essentials that will make your holiday and memorable one. The Lodge has a double bedroom with en-suite shower facilities, a twin bedroom and bathroom. The Lodge also boasts a large living room with tv, dvd and cd player. A fully fitted kitchen with gas hob & electric oven, fridge, seperate freezer and dishwasher along with dining area which opens out onto the veranda and patio area. There is also a study and utility room with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All bed linen, towels and robes are provided. All heating and electric is included within the price. Outside boasts wonderful views across to the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay. Patios areas to the front and rear with lawned gardens, orchard, patio furniture & bbq.

There are plenty of places to visit, the Lake District is only a 45 minute drive away and offers all sorts of attractions, Windermere, Bowness and Ullswater, a little further afield there are the quaint villages of Coniston and Keswick. Close by we have the Forest of Bowland which sits in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Historical City of Lancaster, Morecambe and Blackpool. The fair trade village of Garstang is a 10 minute drive along with Scorton and Glasson Dock. There are many pubs and restaurants around the area offering local produce and fresh fish. Annual events include countryside fairs and agricultural shows. The cities of Lancaster and Preston are only a short drive away. The nearest airports being Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool. Braides Lodge is located 10 minutes from Junction 33 North M6.

BraidesLodge is really a wonderfull place to relax. There is room enough for a family of four and you find all things you need -even some things you didn't need but like it.Par example: The stereo, TV. The furniture is high standard,the kitchen really well-maintained. The owners provide really good service and they are helpful to find shops,restaurants and so on. We loved the athmosphere of the lodge and the quitness around. If you want some action beautiful Lancaster is near and the Lakes are also not very far away...We will recommend Braides Lodge to all of our friends who wantto visit this region of Great Britain.
