We had our best holiday ever in this place. It was absolutely wonderful. The villa had everything that one can imagine from basic amenities to luxury goods. Design was not only practical and convenient but also very tasty.The pool was what they called infinity pool and it gave you the idea of connecting with the sea. The view was beyond paradise One can stay there and would never wanna leave. It is a perfect getaway for couples who need some privacy or for families with children who would like have great fun feeling like one big family. Locationwise since the villa is a bit isolated, it is also pretty good for older people, who seek for quiteness. Still getting to downtown is pretty easy, only a few minutes walk. We highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend a holiday to remember for a lifetime.

Dream Villa in Kalkan

The villa far exceeded our expectations in every way. Everything you might need was there and the pool and surroundings were beautiful and the views, breathtaking. The temperature was above 40 degrees, but the unique location of the villa provided a gentle breeze which was very welcome. The enormous balcony provided shade with views, whilst the pool area was ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. An easy ten minute walk downhill to the town meant there was no need for a car and you could always take a taxi up the hill, or walk in about 15 minutes. A steep set of steps up to the villa would not have been ideal for elderly, disabled or very young visitors - but for a family with children over 5 years - I don't think you could find anywhere better. Kalkan had everything you might need - cool shops, great restaurants, scooter hire, beach clubs with jet skis, waterskiing, banana boating, harbour, boat trips and more.

... aus 200m Höhe, in isolierter Lage am Berg "klebend" auf die Bucht von Kalkan, das Städtchen und den Hafen.
Am Morgen von unten der Ruf des Muezzins, die Boote, die die Bucht verlassen. Am Nachmittag zurück von den beiden wunderschönen und so unterschiedlichen Stränden in Patara oder Kaputas, hinein in den kühlen Pool, und warten auf den Sonnenuntergang über der Bucht, vielleicht mit einem Glas Raki oder einem kühlen Weissen aus Kapadokien oder Pamukkale. Und dann gehen die Lichter der Stadt und der ankernden Boote an, man hört die Musik und die Stimmen im leichten Abendwind heraufklingen ... perfekt.
Das Haus ist nagelneu und excellent ausgestattet - Herd, Mikrowelle, Aussengrill, Klima, Plasma-TV´s, WLan.
Abdullah und seine Frau schauen öfters mal selbst vorbei, ansonsten gibt es einen Guard mit seiner Familie, der sich um die drei Villen kümmert.
Kräuter gibts im Garten, Einkaufen in mehreren Supermärkten in Gehdistanz, beim Metzger und Bäcker und Gemüsehändler ... man kennt einen hier nach einer Woche.
Das Dorf hat Charakter, kaum Deutsche hier, null Pauschaltourismus. Unbedingt als Tagesausflüge: Sakklikent, Kekova mit dem Boot, Bergroute nach Kas, Fahrt und Forellenessen in den kühlen Taurus ... und jede Menge Ruinenstädte. Für Wanderer: früh aufstehen und ein Stück auf dem Lykian Way gehen ... zum späten Frühstück vor der Hitze wieder zurück sein.
Wir haben noch 5 Tage ... ich bin gespannt, ob ich meine Familie von hier weg wieder in den Flieger bekomme ...

This villa was absolutely fantastic. We spent there our honeymoon!
The description on the website is very accurate, there is plenty of space of 8 people in the house, and the outside areas are great. The house was really clean and very well maintained. It's a very beautiful and quiet location, a great place to enjoy nature and silence. The gardens have beautiful and very well kept plants where you can also find all kind of aromatic herbs. The swimming pool is great, big enough for quite a few people and really clean with plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs. It was a pity we couldn't use it as the weather was quite bad the week we stayed there.
The villa is very easy to find with the very detailed directions the owners provide. It's close to Kalkan. We had a family lunch at the house the day before our wedding and everyone really enjoyed the location and the beautiful views. The house itself has everything you would need to cook, enjoy yourself, there are books, games which we enjoyed playing, cd player,PC,wirelles ?nternet etc... The owners have been very helpful all the time and they have provided all the information we needed. I have recommeded it to all my friends and no doubt we will be back again!! It's a great spot to tour the area and have a few quite and relaxing days!
